I regret it. Could've been watching Xiaolin Showdown reruns. Skunk Fu is 90% immature jokes that make the 10% genuine character interactions all the less worth sitting through.

I tried watching some clips a while back. Fox makes my skin crawl, her design, her voice, her actions...

Ah, this show loved immature jokes. It was a different time, one with gym partner monkeys and disturbing sailors.

i guess i see it. weirdly enough i think the show and ANB came out about the same time too.

I think it was just "in" to have mythological characters and a ton of shows ended up overlapping, Ying Yang Yo! also had a draconic entity sealed up for a season and Chase Young from Xiaolin Showdown kinda counts.

I sadly wasn’t born yet. I think the choppy ReBoot animation gives it charm. The idea is refreshingly absurd.



I watched this before I knew about the actual speculative zoology documentary.

ReBoot got done DIRTY. I only saw snippets when I was younger because it played on goddamn Discovery Kids in my country and I had no idea, but everything after that is disgusting. I need only point towards WoolieVS' pained video on the subject.



"Kids won't understand the terms so the show aged badly"? Yeah, because they can't pick up a phone and look it up. No one plays Final Fantasy nowadays, the mythological creatures are too complex for anyone to know what the names mean. The timeline+the Netflix attempt makes Spyro and Crash's empty years seem fair and justified.

Yowch. I feel bad for the fans. I only knew about this show from the Netflix series backlash.

Speaking of outdated CG, you all should look up Butt Ugly Martians. You won't regret it.

Rango is soooo good, if only it wasn't a huge Liar Revealed story. It's well done! I just hate that plot to begin with! So I just stick to the soundtrack after the first viewing.

Yes, the music is amazing! Same about Liar Reveal. I’ve always hated that trope. I like the ugliness and general grime of the art direction.

I swear, I've had the faintest memories of this show for the longest time, yet I could never quite figure out what the show was. If this didn't randomly pop up in my YouTube recommendations, I'd be convinced I just imagined the whole thing.

Sagwa!! I don’t even remember the premise or anything. I just remember liking it, because talking cats. Talking animals were a huge selling point for me. Same sentiment with Hamtaro.

I was going to actually put it up here, but I figured people were already familiar with it. I also didn’t want this topic to diverge into Thundercats Roar and modern cartoon hate, if there were hardcores fans out there. I’m staying open to the idea until I see an episode.



It’s got a buff dog man in it, so Thundercats 2011 is okay in my book. I always found the look of the titular Thundercats uncanny, however.

I was actually going to put My Life As A Teenage Robot up here, but I thought everyone would’ve gotten a refresher on Jenny due to the Spinel comparisons. Gasp, someone familiar with Star Wars Rebels! In that case:

I’d put the 2008 Clone Wars here, too. It’s just that the intro isn’t much to look at. It’s theme still gets me, love those drums.
