Angora took aim at some of the approaching ishiuds, and fired. Except it wasn't a force bolt. It was more like a force laser. Some of the didn't only went down, they have disappeared. The laser disintegrated them. And the force of the blast was so strong, it made Angora fall backwards off the rail.
"Cielos santo! Angorita, are you ok?" Maverick asked concerned, Angora being so small she almost looked like she was the one being hit by the laser.
"Oof what a headache! Orion really overdid it this time!" she exclaimed, rubbing her head. The crazy surge of power vanished, giving her the impression that was some extra energy she needed to let loose. She had to take it easier. It was a good thing the laser was aimed at the sky, otherwise it could've hit allies. Despite her new powers being helpful, she had to be calmer when using them. She created more force bolt out of her hands, ready to strike, but this time, they looked more like small balls of light rather than being made by electricity, but as long as it got the job done, it didn't matter...

“They are coming at the ship! Protect the ship!” Shade said as he flew off and used his blue fire on the approaching ishiuds.

In the meantime, one of the hulking monstrosities slowly but surely strolled in the direction of the Enduring Legacy. Though Shade's fire took out one or two soldiers initially, their adaptive armor soon made his attacks ineffective. They were looking to fly on board the ship and begin their assault there.
Whistlers were providing support this time. As men on the ship scrambled to position, they were assailed by volleys of bony spines.

Shade landed near the ship and soon started to use close quarters combat against them. “You will not win!”

Meanwhile Icestorm and Crystal used their powers against some that were trying to get on board.

Angora tried to get a better shot, but the fighting Shade was in the way.
"Shady! Get out of the way! If they're immune to your strong fire, they will be more so with anything else. Let me get a better shot!" she yelled, wanting him to get out of the way. She was afraid he could be severely injured if he got too close to them.

Maverick remained with the sword at hand while Ilasi used a bow, ready to slash the creatures if they get too close. Things seemed hopeless, but then again, it wasn't the first time. Just when everything seemed lost, they always find a way to prevail, and this time shouldn't be any different. He didn't know how they were going to stop the Ishulgites if they were likely several hundred miles away from them and with a storm imprisoning them there, but they just received Orion's divine intervention, and even though he couldn't be physically present, he knew he was offering his help the best way he could. Somehow, they had to win. They had to stop this society from fulfilling their sadistic objective...

The soldiers sustained injuries, but were quickly patched up by the weavers; they and the others continued their assault. The bipedal creature took a look at the aft of the ship; it continued its march to the area there as the melee continued to ensue around it.

Sere had managed to reach Martus soon after the ensuing battle. They would need a plan going forward... ideally one that would allow them to circumvent fighting the children.
"We're holding for now, but this is a pretty tough spot to fight," Martus said, as he scanned the area for better ground. "We could make do if we got some better terrain."

Angora took notice of the healing, and came with the conclusion that the weavers had to go first.
"Ugh! There is no time to lose! Going out Maverick! Stay in the ship!" Angora stated, going below the gangplank before Maverick could stop her. Shade was already too busy, and she didn't dare risking Veris' life, even if he was trained for battle. If something happened to him, she wanted Sere to be the one responsible, not her. Maverick could only looked with horror as Angora reached dry land, ready to engage the weavers at close range so she could get a better shot and prevent hitting allies.

"Por favor be careful Angorita!" Maverick screamed, being near Ilasi to defend her in case one of those beasts got too close, but far enough from her to prevent from accidentally slashing her when he swung the sword around...

Ilasi stayed as far back away as she could, still not used to her new weapon but learning quickly out of necessity. From her spot, she was able to catch a glimpse of something... peculiar.
One of the hulking walkers - the one approaching the ship - grabbed the corpse of a weaver. In its hands, the weaver corpse soon ignited incandescently, much like the monster itself. In a few seconds, it was nothing but a pile of ash.
From there, the walker spat a sticky sludge material - similar to what the weavers could make - at some wounded soldiers. They underwent a miraculous recovery in short order, jumping back into the fight.

With some quick precision, Latnok launched an explosive arrow into the walker before him. The arrow hit its mark, detonating in the creature's chest. It roared out as a glowing hole - like a furnace lit with a blue fire - opened up. Latnok could see that he wouldn't have much opportunity to press the assault - in a few seconds, the hole closed up and the creature began to move forward again.

The flame was hard to miss. It's light soon caught Angora's eye, and before she could get further into the island, she saw what the hulking monstrosity was doing. It was... resurrecting the downed soldiers?
"What the hell just happened!?" she yelled, mostly to herself since nobody else was near her. How could this be? How can those monsters have such ability? She watched with horror as the once defeated soldiers continued their advance, dead set on reaching the ship. How could they win if the creatures they defeated kept being revived? The answer was quite obvious now. The hulking beasts had to go first. Angora got closer to the walker, using the earth to camouflage herself. The beast didn't looked like it was paying attention to her, so that's when she took her chance. She created another force... light bolt to be more precise, covering it with her other hand so that the light wouldn't give away her position. She had to take a clear shot. She had to wait for the monster to be closer, and if it opened it's mouth, then better. She was going to do exactly what the Guardians did with the Omniphage. If there was any guarantee in a destruction, it would be better doing it from the inside...

The revived soldiers didn't go unnoticed by Maverick either. He didn't want to admit it, but he was terrified. Now how they were suppose to win? All the past battles, a defeated enemy stayed dead... but it wasn't the case here anymore. All their hard work, all their defenses, vanished by the walker. He shed a single tear, not knowing if they could win, even with Orion's help. He quickly wiped the rear, not wanting his girlfriend to see him in such a way. Turning his back to her, he started to whisper.
"Someone... someone is out there, I know it. Why are you doing this to us? What have we ever done to you?" he whispered with a broken voice, wanting to believe somebody was listening. After all, the Ishulgites spied on Angora and even communicated with her, and possibly many others on the ship they still didn't know about...

Shade bashed through solders and weavers and soon got in front of the walker. He flared out his wings as a blue aura formed around him. “Take another step and you will be ended here.” He said as his mouth and nose blew out smoke. He was channeling his rage and anger to his powers which in turn got an boost.

The walker, heedless of Shade's threat, rapidly drew back its free hand as it turned its torso back slightly, before viciously swinging forward with the claws on the free hand as it flared its heel with the motion. The air in the path of the swing distorted slightly as the claws made a sharp whooshing sound as they sliced through the air.
Some of the weavers, meanwhile, seemed more occupied with the aft of the ship. Submerging themselves, they shot sticky webbing at the rudder. It would soon be inoperable.

Maverick was ready to slash away some weavers... but they didn't come to the ship directly. They sank into the water. Maverick wanted to believe that they drowned, but soon knew it was too good to be true when he heard the ship trembling a bit. Something was going on down there. He was certain of it.
"Ilasi! Aim at the weavers below!" was the only thing he managed to say, not wanting to risk his girlfriend to swim down there to see what was going on. The implication was obvious...

"Shady!" Angora screamed when she saw the walker about to attack him. Not waiting for her plan to be put into motion, she just attacked, hoping her light magic was better than Shade's fire.
"You stupid, idiotic... beast!" she insulted, creating a whole mess of force lights and throwing it at the monster. One seeing it from afar and it almost looked like a snowball fight was taking place, except the snow glowed and went through a small explosion upon contact with the target. There was no other way around. The walkers had to die before proceeding with the rest... but as Angora attacked, she didn't notice what the weavers were doing to the ship, their only means of transport...

The walker deftly avoided Shade's attempt to grab it with a quick jerk back - it soon lost interest in the dragolet, however, as the light bolts disrupted its form. Winding back, it fiercely tossed the broken-off spine from its shoulder at the source of the attacks - its aiming assisted by a mastermind overseeing the battle - before grabbing a soldier corpse and consuming it in the same way it did the weaver corpse. The consistency of its skin adjusted as it did so, much the same way that soldiers would.

Ilasi was able to catch a glimpse of what was happening, but the weavers were deeper than she would be able to hit. The rudder was completely gummed up - the ship would not be moving until that was taken care of. There was little to be done for now except hold on, however.

“ANGORA!!” shade Yelled and quickly flew to her and jumped in the way of the redirected attack. He got hit by it in the side and went down.

Suddenly there was the sound of the chime directed at the beast. It was Starshatter whom by previous knowledge of the sound of the chime was able to reproduce the sound using his sonic blast.

Angora watched with disgust how the walker healed itself.
"Oooh that's creepy." she exclaimed as she recoiled with the sight. The light bolts were injuring it, but the monster simply took the nearest corpse and healed itself. At this rate, it was going to take forever. Shade came in to protect her, but she knew that not even he would be enough. She was terrified when she saw him injured.
"Oh that does it! I don't have time for this trash!" she excaimed furiously as she went besides her dragolet friend, approaching the fiend with the dagger at hand, ready to kill. Perhaps if she reached it's throat, and maybe even beheaded it, it would finally be dead for good, and if the dagger still had poison in it, then better...

Maverick looked at Ilasi inspecting things, and by her face, it didn't look good. He looked away again to hold up the tears, but it was then that she spotted Angora approaching one of the abominations with Shade trying to protect her.
"Oscurito? Oh no, ANGORITA!" he yelled, but the battle was too loud and he was too far. His friends were in danger...

Risar ordered the canons to take aim at the Walker, while he and the remaining crew focused on drawing out the Weavers. Upon witnessing the Walker's actions of healing itself, the Minotaur altered his instructions and had the men split their Canon shots *between* the Walker and it's healing fodder.

Elsewhere, Raclaw realized much the same thing and immediately looked to Latnok. "The Walker is consuming the others to heal-- we have to keep them separated if we're to have any hopes of hurting it!," he thought outloud and he fended against those who were trying to get the Guardian.

The mimicked sound of the resonating chime, though it lacked the full magic of the original source, was enough to restrict the walker's ability to assimilate the traits of the ishiuds, and slow down the adaptation speed of nearby soldiers. Heedless, the demonic walker creature, initially pulling off another spike and seeking to finish Shade off, soon had its attention stolen away by Angora. Taking a deep breath, it spat out a vile, fiery sludge mixture at the troll as it stepped forward to meet her.
Th ecannon fire, for the moment, was keeping the rest of the ishiuds separated from the walker. There was no telling how long that would last, however.

Sere noted Raclaw's own conclusion - telepathing Martus, the leader of the islander assault, to inform him of the plan. As suggested, Martus had his men intercept ishiuds moving toward the walker.
Meanwhile, the third walker was currently absent from both those battles - it was, however, headed to reinforce the fight at the ship.

Angora was about to create a shield herself, but Neo went in and created it in her advance, which was a good thing since she wasn't certain if she would've been able to create it in time with the dagger at hand. She needed both of her hands free in order to materialize it fast. She wasn't fond of the way Neo insulted her, but now it wasn't the time to argue.
"Neo! I will get Shade to safety, but I will need my sword to defeat these things before they keep healing!" she said, hoping that if the magical weapon were enough to defeat an otherworldly being like Darkmatter, it should take care of these fiends with far more success than a simple dagger that probably didn't have any poison left.

Like she has done before, Angora grabbed Shade by the tail and dragged him off back to the ship, trying to take the road that was the most free from the attacking monsters.
"Shade! You overprotective imbecile!" she yelled angrily at the unconscious dragolet, his overprotectiveness getting him in more trouble than she could count. Angora couldn't carry Shade, but she could drag him by the tail with quite ease, even more so today that other times. Adrenaline? Orion's power increase? It didn't matter. She had to bring him back to the vessel, which wasn't as safe as before, but it was still less dangerous than the ground, where most of the monsters were still concentrated...

Risar noted the the success of his plan, but also knew that the enemy would eventually catch on. "Archers-- focus your fire on the walker. Canyons, keep firing and keep the fodder away from the walker. We have to take it down!," the minotaur shouted orders. Chester remained safe and sound in the hallway; the little Beagle couldn't open any doors so he simply laid down in a nearby corner.

And elsewhere, Raclaw's eyes continued to glow and now both Orion and the pre-existing collar/Damon would be of great use to him. "Latnok-- I believe my fireballs may be of some use here in combination of both Orion's and the collar's power, within reason of course.," he then suggested knowing that the walker made a plenty big enough target. The only question was rather or not they would have to get closer or get some air...

Angora put Shade on Starshatter's back with some difficulty, getting on the larger dragolet herself afterwards.
"So any plans? Those bipedal things are going to keep healing, and there are too many of those webbed spitting abominations..." Angora asked, not certain anymore who to attack first...

Meanwhile at the ship, Maverick was thinking of releasing Veris so he could aid them in the battle, especially his master, who was at the source. Although the source would soon be the ship at this rate. He could help there. But Veris wasn't his wyvern. It wasn't his call. He was attacked and injured last battle, and if something happened to him, he knew it would be his fault...

Seeing the incandescent glow of the creature gave Latnok some doubts about that particular suggestion - but he thought about it a little more. The creature's outer skin seemed to be burning, except it seemed fine - but there was no telling how well it would be able to withstand such a thing from the inside. "If the fireball blows a hole in it, it migt be able to burn something crucial," Latnok hypothesized. "Worth as much of a try as anything else."

Meanwhile, back at the ship, the divide and conquer strategy seemed to be working - for now, at least. After sustained attacks, a cannonball blasted off the walker's leg - causing it to fall over. Being too far away from a source of biomass to assimilate, it slowed down more and more as it struggled to crawl.
The other walker, however, soon grabbed it - and assimilated the fallen walker in a similar matter to other creatures. As it did so, its muscles visibly grew, and the glow around it grew in intensity.

"Agreed.," Raclaw said visually scanning the walker for possible locations of crucial 'organs' or equivalents. The Fur Dragon soon prepared to draw from both his own energy via his own reserves/the collar and from that of Orion; he wouldn't let the god's added firepower go to waste while he still had it. He silently corridated an ideal location via instant though and would 'fire' when ready. It had to work; and perhaps Darkheart could help as well...

Back on the Enduring Legacy-- Risar watched as his plan failed and worked simultaneously. The new walker was assimilating the old one and growing stronger in the process. They would need more than just arrows and cannonballs now. "Archers, focus your fire on the fodder. We don't need the beast getting any stronger! Cannons, remain focused on the walker and give it everything you have! Dragolets; Risar suspects that cannonballs and arrows alone won't be enough. A certain Fur Dragon is capable of doing fireballs with help and if you can do the same, the help would be greatly appreciated.," the minotaur said with a nod both barking orders at his men and asking for help from those just visiting. If Raclaw was only a 'weaker' example of the dragon or dragolet proper, then perhaps they might yet succeed.

Darkheart couldn't resist the urge to glower at the Walker. "I've had worse ideas. It's not like we've got anything better to try. I don't have true fire, but my mastery of Shadow magic should have SOME use in at least slowing it down." She whispered a spell and sent her shadow to grab the Walker's own, before readying a bolt of pure elemental darkness.
Mischief continued attacking from the ground, using her acrobatic prowess to avoid harm. "That thing is just such a nuisance! But if you think elemental attacks can help, I'm happy to oblige." She readied her best elemental spells and started drawing extra Mana from her orb until its swirling actually obscured her. "I'll see how it likes having my best magick thrown at it! Let's see if it can take level V spells!" The vixen's eyes began glowing with the overflowing Mana she was drawing on. "Give a cue and I'll open fire!"

"Hold that though Ilasi..." he said, not really wanting to hear the answer to his question.
"Maverick. Shady was injured. I need you to watch over him while I take care of these things!" Angora instructed, with Maverick not liking the idea at all.
"You saw what those things can do Angorita! Look what they did to Oscurito! I don't want you to go there!" Maverick predictably said but Angora was ready with a reply.
"Come on Maverick! I engaged Darkmatter face to face, battled a behemoth, stabbed a deity and survived being chewed up by a manticore. And that's not even half of the things I've been through!" Angora reminded, but that wasn't enough to convince her friend. He wanted to have faith in her, but there were so many of those monsters, and the walkers could heal themselves in almost no time. Everything seemed so hopeless.
"You will just have to trust me. Orion helped us. I already have Neo, and he just gave us an extra boost." she assured, but she wasn"'t going to wait for Maverick to respond. They were wasting precious time. Waiting no more time, she left the ship again, and Maverick could only watch with a worried frown how she left again...

The fireball successfully forced its way through the walker's chest with the force bolt portion, exploding within the creature. Being crippled so, it was a sitting duck for Darkheart and Mischief to attack with their own magic. The line was olding, keeping the ishiuds separated from... whatever the walker was.
Presumably, that would leave one of the creatures - the one attacking the ship. It was larger and more vicious than before, and soldiers took whatever opportunity they could amidst the covering fire to support it and continue their attack on the ship. Without a moment to lose, Latnok grabbed his bow and sprinted back towards the site of the ship, still energized from the empowerment he was granted earlier.

With all of the fighting going on, Veris frantically darted about in his enclosure. There was nothing he could do from here - where was his human? Had something happened to him? Why was he not allowed into the fight? But he just had to! He had to kill those things!
He let out a frustrated roar, but there was nothing he could do besides that. He could only keep pacing and hope someone eventually got around to opening the door - or the lock failed.

Raclaw, without hesitation, ran after Latnok and towards the sight of the ship. 'One walker left-- just one. They had to take it down!,' his mind thought as Orion and the collar's energy still flowed through him. Risar only continued his efforts to command and conquer, doing everything in his and his men's power to take the beast down. Canyon shot after canyon shot, arrow after arrow, breath weapon after breath weapon. They had to do anything and everything they could to save the Enduring Legacy. They had to endure everything that was being sent at them -- not only for their sake, but for everyone's sake. They. Had. To. Succeed.

Chester, meanwhile, could hear Veris' cries but could do nothing about them. He was only a mere dog and could do little to free the Wyvern's desire to *do* something. He couldn't open the main door out to the deck, he couldn't open the door to his own master's room, and he especially couldn't open the doors to Veris' enclosure. He could only lie down. And listen. And hope that everything was going alright out there.

Angora dashed ahead, feeling invigorated with the new surge of power. It felt great having her mystical armor and sword again. The armor would provide her with protection, and her shield would provide something extra in case the ugly beast spat any more of the deadly black goop. This was it! She ran towards it without any fear of hesitation. Latnok was there too. As well as Raclaw. They were all ready to use Orion's gift...

Still struggling with what to do with Veris, Maverick decided to just stay put for now, and watch over Shade while protecting the ship. Below the vessel, Angora has locked the wyvern well. It wasn't all the way through, but it was enough to keep the door locked.

Darkheart took to the skies with a roar. "Let's finish this quickly!"
Mischief hurried along after the others. "H... Hey! I'm not gonna be left behind!" Ugh, it's getting tough to focus. And that's mostly because of YOU, Eclipse. Do not place the blame on me. I'm not the only thing that's wearing you down. You've used a lot of Mana. Be careful, fox cub. Shut up and let me do this. I don't need interference. The vixen stumbled a couple times, but managed to keep going. "Ugh... I'm going to rest up a bit after this..."

The large, empowered walker creature stared down the incoming attackers. It didn't seem bothered by the manifestation of power displayed by Angora. Instead, it seemed content to let her approach - within its own striking range. As she did so, it grinded its claws together, creating a harsh, maddening screeching sound in a presjmed effort to make the combatants lower their guard before a follow-up attack

Ilasi couldn't help but cover her ears at the sound. She was sure that it irritated many others, but they were more used to handling that sort of deal than she was. Thankfully, it was over in just a moment...

“Don’t let up! Keep firing!” Zera said as she breathed purple fire at the creature.

Shade soon started to get up he was wounded but still able to fight. “Angora!” He said as his aura flared up again and his Wing membranes, horns, claws, and spines turned to green fire. He was now using his full power to protect not only Angora but the others as well. He charged at the creature with all his might and power.

The noise briefly got to Raclaw's head-- with Damon immediately stepping in to help his host. 'Keep going! Keep going! Keep.. going!,' Damon shouted within the Fur Dragon's head encoding the collared dragon to keep up the pace. He was prepared to do whatever it took, be it his fireballs or even more close up fire. Risar, for his part, kept up with the aforementioned canyon fire and the Dragolets appeared to be playing their part well.

Maverick covered his ears immediately, also being affected.
"Why that..." Maverick starting to say, almost swearing, but that wasn't proper of a gentleman, so he stopped. He could see many trying to bring the creature down, and he was horrified when he saw Shade flying over his head.
"Oscurito!? NO! Vuelve! Come back!" he yelled, begging him to come. He was already injured, and once again, trying to protect Angora was getting him into trouble...

Angora charged at the creature, with her sights set on it's neck. She wanted the beast's head, but when it dragged it's claws making the infernal sound, she couldn't help but covering her ears. Trolls could fold their ears like cats whenever a sound was too intense for her, but being so close at the source have her the need to use her hands. Out of instinct, she created her famous shield, hoping it would drown off the sound, but also to avoid any incoming attacks...

Mischief cried out, physically pained by the noise. Her extremely sensitive ears did NOT take it well, and she crumpled to the floor... A moment later her readied Mana exploded outward in a blast of raw magical energy for several yards.
Darkheart recoiled from the noise but pushed onward, diving into her own Shadow to escape the sound and approach the monster. Her voice hissed "And now it's over!" She intended to strike from the beast's own shadow.

The mastermind diligently worked to sort out all of the threats around the walker. The best support the ishiuds seemed to be able to provide at the moment was volley after volley of spines - those who drew too close to the monster were being taken down by cannon fire.
Sensing a moment of vulnerability, the walker broke off another spine, tossing it at the approaching Shade - the missile creating a sharp sound as it darted through the air at more than half the speed of sound. Soon after it began preparing a follow-up action, however, it suddenly lost its balance as Darkheart struck at it from the ground. Staggering with a chunk of its leg ripped off, it caught itself - before spitting a strong rope of webbing at a weaver corpse and pulling the corpse to itself, further restoring itself.

Shade breathed green fire at the spine and quickly jumped out of the way. He was still coming as he bashed his way through solders and wislers. He then jumped up and used his wings to give him a boost in an attempt to bring Dow the walker.

Angora took the time to watch what was going on, and when she lifted her head to see the walker, shee could see the projectiles flying around, as well as the beast trying to regenerate itself.
"Oh no you don't!" Angora yelled, rolling her shield like a hamster ball like she did when playing with Veris, holding the base of her sword in her mouth. A tail could've been so convenient right now, but it was a shame trolls didn't have one. As she approached the monster, she watched Shade at the distance, and had to resort to speaking to him telepathically.
"Don't get any closer Shady! I'll try to behead this thing once and for all!" She warned, not wanting her friend to be caught in the crossfire. What was he doing there anyway? He needed to rest. Why did Shade have to be such an overprotective idiot? She wanted the walker dead once and for all, but she had to make sure she had a clear shot and not risk anybody...

Maverick could see Angora's notorious shield rolling at the distance. His skin was as pale as an albino when he saw what Angora was doing. Not only that, but Shade was also risking himself. His two best friends were in mortal danger, but he was too far to run towards the waker, not to mention he could get hit by a proyectile. He felt so useless, so helpless, and if something happened to him, he knew it could cause much suffering. But what could he do? He didn't want to just stay there and do nothing...

Darkheart growled in frustration and dove back into her shadow, circling the Walker. A few seconds later she aimed higher up and tried again.
Rocky and Choco began to ignore all else to fight their way to the downed Mischief. Meanwhile Digi was panicking. "Mon down! Mon down!"
Mischief attempted to pull herself up, but the accidental release of Mana had drained what little energy she had left. She cursed under her breath and started trying to crawl towards the ship. A moment later two powerful stone arms picked her up and cradled her. Rocky had arrived. Choco continued to fight. The two looked at one another and nodded. Rocky placed Mischief onto Choco's back and resumed fighting while Choco rushed to get his master aboard the ship, where she'd be safe. At least for now.

This time, the mastermind - which had cloaked itself once more - was able to predict the attack from the shadows - and with its assistance, the walker was able to brace itself, quickly swinging to avoid it. It was soon able to shift its attention to other things, however. Hundreds of orders per second were going through the mastermind's brain - with its attention almost completely directed at the walker right now, the creature would be much more alert and prepared to defend itself.
Latnok noted this when he aimed an arrow and wasn't able to foresee a landing shot. "Raclaw! We're going to have to deal with that mastermind somehow," he suggested, as his attention went back to things he could hit. "We need to find it and, at the very least, disrupt it long enough to strike this monster down."

Leoquin, who had been in the fight with fellow sailors for a while, took the opportunity to jump off the ship in order to get to the rudder below; he shapeshifted on contact with the ocean. He didn't know what exactly happened to it, but there was a chance it would be easier to deal with if it was handled immediately.
Ilasi, meanwhile, was tiring herslef - not used to the hard exertion such a battle required. And now they had this even bigger monster to deal with - what could be done?

Darkheart growled and this time didn't dive back down but instead readied her full force. "The game ends here and now. We'll kill you somehow." She used her shadow to grab the creature's own. While it would prevent her from moving quickly, the intent was to slow the creature down for the other's sake. "All right, it should be at least a little weaker with me restraining it, but I can't hold it down forever." She mentally readied herself to launch another bolt of dark energy should she get an opening.

"I'm on it.," Raclaw said promptly scanning the environment with the goal of finding and blocking the Mastermind. With Damon and Orion to his advantage-- it *should* be an ideal strategy. It wouldn't be long until he picked up on the desired target. Elsewhere, Risar kept up with canyon fire and directed some of his men to help Mischief and Choco onboard.

As soon as Choco brought Mischief back to the ship, Maverick immediately went to attend her wounds.
"Mischief! No te preocupes! I'll take you to the infirmary!" he assured, giving his sword to a nearby sailor, who only had a dagger for defense. Sand Dune, Random and Opium were there, knowing they'd be much more needed there than at the battle...

The walker looked so distracted with the incoming attacks it looked like it was ignoring Angora. This had to be her chance. However, she couldn't strike with the shield activated. It had to go. She rolled the magical sphere to the sides of the walker, being as silent as she could. And when it seems the walker still wasn't paying attention to her, she disactivateddeactivated her shield, doing one of her notorious jump, sword at hand, aiming right at the beast's neck. This was it. Somehow, she had to succeed. Her heart was beating so fast, possibly faster than when she did the exact same move on Darkmatter...
