Based on your opinion, Who are your picks for the best starter pack characters gameplay wise? (dark editions and reposes excluded)

Mine is Spitfire, just him. Doesn't mean you have to pick just one.

Gill Grunt, Tree Rex, Blast Zone, Snap Shot, Spitfire and Bowser.

My favourite overall would be Blast Zone, but the others are cool too.

Swap Force : I liked all of them I really can’t decide
3ds : Free Range

Trap Team : Snap Shot
3ds : I didn’t like both character’s gameplay

Super Chargers : Super Shot Stealth Elf
3ds : Bowser
Wii / Wii U : Donkey Kong

Honestly I barely played with the starter pack characters as none of them really interest me a whole lot. I done so mostly because it was a necessity, like with Tree Rex as I didn't bother to get another Giant until way later.

I probably would say Gusto from the 3DS game is my fav of them all to actually play. Golden Queen is the absolute best but only as a decoration. I played her recently for the first time and I just didn't like her at all.

I think Stealth Elf is the best all round character ever made so she would be top of my list.

Nerfed in later games but with enough tricks if you're patient enough.

I liked all 3 from the original game.

Well, when I got SA, I played Spyro the most, so I'd have to say he was my favorite.

Pop Fizz is one of my favourite Skylanders altogether so I'd have to choose him though I didn't get him from a starter pack. Also not sure if he'd count since I'm referring to the console versions as him being my favourite and PF came in a 3DS starter pack.
However, as a whole, I think Swap Force had the best Starter Pack(s). Mostly because of Wash Buckler and Blast Zone both being great characters to start with and Stealth Elf was just a bonus. Add Slobber Tooth and Spyro from the Dark Edition and there's another two.
