I mean, we literally won't know about other planes of existence until someone comes back with proof or opens a connection, so that'll be up in the air forever.

Given the size of the universe, it is very silly to assume that Earth is the only one with life as we know it. So I think that there are other forms of life in some other planet in some unknown galaxy but they are not human-like creatures since that way of thinking is very human-centric superiority and exclusivity-illusionistic.

Well this universe is all that there is. Are there different dimensions? Mathematically, sure but I am not educated enough of a person to state that there aren't multiple dimensions. But I think that all the dimensions are in the same universal canvas and since the probabilities of so many realities are so close to infinite, it is kind of small-minded to assume that there are no other dimensions.

But in terms of Earth's mysteries, there are none. Every supernatural phenomena can be explained through scientific means. The beliefs and fairytales we've created have been created because we either want to have some mystery to entertain us or have easy rationalization to not learn more about our existence and keep on believing that we are special as a species.

I don't really believe, but I always like to have it

I feel like there has to be life somewhere, even if it's long since died off. I just can't wrap my head around the idea of us being a truly unique phenomenon in the history of the universe. It just seems so insanely improbable.

Unfortunately, though, I also feel like it's incredibly unlikely that our species will ever achieve contact with life on other planets. I think the vast expanses between galaxies are too massive for even the most advanced technology to surmount, and as a result all life that has ever developed and that ever will develop will forever be confined to it's own little pocket of the universe.

Elon Musk really needs to build some mechas so we can go into space and kick some Martian ass.

The discovery of extraterrestrial life will probably be the biggest nail in the coffin for the three Abrahamic religions.

The worst thing is thinking of that kind of stuff when you're really stoned, at least for me, back when I used to do that kind of thing, I used to confuse myself trying to figure **** out.
