Would you rather have memes or waifus?

Hypothetically...

The Elder Gods have decided that all humans are to be punished for their excessive ****posting. They have decided on two ways to punish us - take away our memes, or take away our waifus.

However, they cannot decide which to take away. So, on the Day of Reckoning (20th April 2069 to be exact), they present all of humankind with a choice:

Memes or waifus?

We are allowed to choose only one to keep, and the other will be taken away for all of eternity, never to come again into being. The most popular answer among us is the one we will be allowed to keep.

So, what do you choose?
