It's not Amazon's price. It's the price other sellers, who have the Magic Pack, put for those who willing to spend nearly $100 to buy a dual pack before it's released in the US.

It's from Europe, most of the Europe Amazons have it listed for order and you can get it delivered to the US now (you couldn't at first). It comes out there soon, but here in the US we have been pretty slow/questionable on the dual/multi packs, so scalpers just order from there, set a delivery date after when they expect to get it then reap the profit. If you have a foreign transaction fee free credit card coupled with the very favorable Dollar to Euro exchange rate currently you can get it very reasonably yourself.

There is a downside though, and that is the shipping cost, expect anywhere from $12-30 depending on how fast you want it. And even if you choose a fast shipping rate, it always could get caught in customs for manual inspection, which could add a couple weeks to the delivery time. Ideally, you can order with a friend and split shipping costs to save money, the shipping fee stays almost the same whether you order one or two or more (up to a certain point). TakeYourLemons and I have done this several times and it works out well.

More like supply and deception. Their source is no less available to anyone else, they are depending on people not being aware of it. They aren't providing a service for their premium, and the figure isn't rare or anything - you can order it right now on amazon.fr, amazon.de, amazon.es and amazon.it - all of them get it in within the next week.

Once everything ran out of stock they had to get the stuff from buyers with higher prices, if you look at all of wave 3 it's like this.
