Anyway, some Skylanders, when I close up in selfie mode, seemed to have lower texture quality in the eyes and some other parts of their body. I've noticed this on King Pen, Eruptor, Punk Shock and Ember. For the non senseis, they have looked much better in previous games.


This isn't ALL Skylanders, most still look great, liek Spyro.

Probably a necessary compromise to help the game run better on Wii U.

That's what I assumed.

Anyone with PS4 or Xbone, can you tell us how the quality of the models are?

Actually I've switched from 360 to PS4 with this game, so all the characters look WAY better than in prior games with the selfies. I cannot tell if they really are though...

At least we know it's just Wii U.

Toys for Bob graphics tend to be a bit lower, the Trap Team NPC's had some bad textures too

VV models like Spyro are way better and smoother

I switched from 360 to Xbox one myself this year and the graphical jump has been amazing. Now regarding old Skylanders, I think it mainly has to do with characters being less detailed model wise since the games were more basic back in the day.

Hex' eyebrows are lines of blurry pixels on the PS3.
