ShadowStorm- any chance you have access to one of the various third-party tools for editing data on figures? Curious to see if crystals can easily be wiped by one of them.

Pyrofer's tool is in Toys and Merch, dunno if anywhere visible in the page. As long as the portal driver still works should be fine.

Oh, nice, it's still on first page. It's NOT a hacking tool(those are against the rules here to even direct towards), it's just a backup tool. The other year they also found out it can wipe data off of traps entirely, so much you lose variant villains if you mess with it too much. It COULD work for crystals, in theory.

I just saw the recent comments and they mentioned nothing happened when you put older characters on. Dang that scared me... thought I wouldn't be able to use Bowser or Blackout. Also, saving that poster pic just in case Activision nukes us.

that just plain sucks...I guess we should just assume that from now on all out magic items, vehicles, level pieces and traps will be basically worthless to the devs

disappointed in TFB's handling of Nightmare difficulty AGAIN....but I have a question tying into the difficulties that I haven't seen answered yet: can you adjust the difficulty on the fly like in SF & SC? Or is this yet another thing TFB refuses to learn.....

SF & SC let us change difficulty whenever we want AND you simply had to replay every level on Nightmare ( which with SC being the only one the devs were kind/intelligent enough to give us all difficulties at the start, means in that case if you didn't jump to Nightmare right off the bat ) on the same save. That's what I meant by on the fly, especially since I've heard that higher difficulties might be required for some rare customization items....

If the new game is following SC trends, it probably has the same system where your portal master powers and unlocked items are all tied to your console account, not a specific save file.

So it doesn't really matter if you have to start another save file or replay every level in nightmare difficulty to say " I beat nightmare mode" , you'll end up replaying the same levels anyway. especially in this imaginators game where replaying levels is already super encouraged to unlock all the Imaginator parts from chests you find in levels.

In TT you could change difficulty on the fly between easy, medium and hard. Except nightmare mode was completely seperate , once you start a save file in nightmare it can't be changed to anything else.

I actually don't mind the system coz it makes completing everything in nightmare mode really difficult in TT. Whereas in SF and SC it's easy coz you can just switch back to an easy difficulty setting to achieve " don't switch" and "don't take damage " goals etc.

In TT, getting 100% completion in a nightmare difficulty save file is actually an achievement. And that's probably what toys 4 bob was going for.

Well so far we know there's racing, Battlebrawl, the 10 sensei elemental realms, 3 adventure packs, random ambushes, and probably a ton of secrets in the M.A.P.

They said back in the initial E3 interviews that it should, as you can use traps as boosts in the racing mode, but the portal that comes with the game does not have a trap slot.

In the M.A.P...
hoards of enemies can randomly ambush you, so no enemy pattern on the map is ever the same.

A feature I would love is if they had an option to save your game anywhere in the level, and then when you load the game you start exactly where you left off.

Yeah but there's no point in TFB Skylanders. They have very arcade-y level structures; the first time is like 40 minutes but any other ones might be 12, 9 minutes at the most. The game also saves your collectible progress even if you restart the level.
