I can't see myself making a YT account for anything other than commercial purposes or whatever, like if I make a videogame and upload trailers for said game, etc..

But that's probably not gonna happen.

Don't generalize. People actually make good content, but you have to know where to look. Even good LPers and Streams, and they usually spend most of their time on the "basement" because editing takes a long ****ing time. Also another reason as to why you can't make a living since equipment is such an investment.

Yeah, if people want to actually stop themselves from coming to darkSpyro then I don't know what to tell them. Is it really that big a deal to just find someplace else or focus on IRL things?

The school is responsible for the students' safety. When the situation is uncertain they can't just let you all run loose like: "Hey everyone, someone threatened to shoot up this place so that means school's over. You're on your own, try not to get shot!" The level of neglect that would imply on the school's part would be astounding.

Like with any emergency, the school has to make sure they have everyone safe and no-one gets left behind. If everyone was left to scatter like roaches in the case of an actual shooting it's a near certainty that there would be deaths cause by the confusion and panic. Especially if no-one had any idea where or who the shooter was at the time.

So yeah, it was a risk to gather everyone together, but in the face of potential danger every choice carries a risk. You can only ever pinpoint the right course of action in hindsight, and your school's officials acted to keep everyone safe instead of going for a "minimal potential casualties"-kinda deal.

No, the threat was made before school started, it's not like it happened and they gathered us all at the threat. The threat was present all day and they just decided to gather us all in one room for an assembly.

Yeah we basically just talked to about the threat and shootings in general and then we were dismissed. We were informed that the threat only said a three letter abbreviation so it could have been any school with the same initials

Right, so they probably didn't feel like there was much in the way of actual danger in that situation.

I dunno. On one hand you need to take things like these seriously, but on the other if any vague threat could just bring things to a halt it would really mess with the system. Nobody knows where the line goes, really. I suppose it depends on whatever information you have available at the time.

Our school shooters were going to force the office ladies to call an assembly and then shoot everyone in the one room. It doesn't matter if it was a vague threat it should be taken seriously and bringing everyone into a single room was completely irresponsible and dangerous. No matter the threat level. If there was a shooting threat having the entire school go home would have been safer just so it could have been looked into. It's better safe than to be, ykno, not safe and then dead.

So in this case when someone dropped a threat you'd have ditched everything to evade it? I get that human life is more valuable than a day in school, but if you do that more than once or twice it starts getting rather unrealistic. What happens after the third threat? The tenth? The twentieth? Assume that some nut threatened to come in shooting every single school week. That'd be one fifth of the school year gone. If you could choose, where would you draw the line? And if you're only talking about this particular case, why would this threat be worse than any other? Wouldn't you do the same in the future?

Keep in mind that it's a well known fact that the vast majority of these threats don't lead to shootings, and were never intended to in the first place. In fact, I've never personally heard or read of a shooting threat leading to an actual shooting that could've been linked to the threat in question, though I'm guessing it must have happened somewhere at some point.

I have the Imaginators app, and I have fun messing around with character creation in it.

I really need to unlock the bat wings backpack soon, though. And I'm seriously wondering if there's a multiple tail option.

If you change your phone's date foward and backward, the game resets the daily chests and you can claim them again. But don't overdo it all at once or that glitch might happen; I did that over the course of a week getting a bunch of chests in the morning and afternoon since I was bored at uni.

I hate the current state of film discourse. There’s a lot of elitism and parroting sentiments from the same group of review channels (YMS, Ralphthemoviemaker, etc.). I wish I could just talk about a movie without being bombarded with pretentious people who devalue your opinion for liking/disliking certain films.

I really should work on my sweep picking. I have gotten worse at it over time even though they are part of my usual improvisation routine. And another thing I really should work on is the ability to maintain normal human conversation. I have the tendency to go silent out of the blue and by that process I'll end up looking very rude even though the problem is my inability to come up with interesting topics.
