Hey everyone, I literally just figured out what a chase variant is. Do you guys have any tips for hunting them? Know any retailers that don't steal variants? Feel free(if comfortable) to state city you live so i can get an idea of where to buy. Thanks!

I saw one in Walmart just before Christmas when the first game came out, and another in Target when Wave 2 of Giants came out. I have never seen one in the wild again. In Minnesota. Good luck!

Good luck. I used to hunt like crazy and never found one. I heard a tip that you can make nice with the stock team after hours and ask to be the first to see them open cases when they come in.

Get a job in a retail store....would be the best way to find chase figures....I own every chase figure...and have only found 2 in store...glitter hot head and bronze tomb buggy...all other I have had to buy off ebay!....there is no method to the madness..

At toys r us where I live its pretty common to see a gold shroom boom... I actually never bought one :3 ;-;

I have bought a couple though (green gil grunt, Halloween Eye Brawl, and I think thats it [I might have bought a gold gill grunt but i cant remember at all :3])

It's not a chase variant though, I'm pretty sure stores just got whole cases of just metallic green/gold Shroomboom in. HalloweenEye Brawl is also not a chase variant, neither is Green Gill Grunt. He was in a special starter pack bundle.
