Nah i love all of it! But i do believe Lauren Faust is a feminist which i dont care if she is, she's not SJW just a ok person i guess. The show is pretty good either way!

Its due to the massive pony porn, so i have to sorta blurr it out. The problem is if i dont watch my little pony i will probably watch porn again so my little pony is blessed that way. I also dont wanna be unmanly and let it soften me up because i know many men are tempted to do because its originally ment for 6 year old girl, but it also contains pure love which is good. So i consider it an interesting experience, it both helps and hinders me. Clopping can be tempting which is why i avoid it, so i tend to not do it.

Just curious to what you think of the show?

Even if you watch MLP you can enjoy regular (and yuri, and even yaoi if you desire) porn.

Also ewww cloppers, they are the outcasts of the MLP community.

I like the show, need to catch up with the current season though.

I'm one of those who is interested in the show but I have that classic fear of being a male that watches My Little Pony and gets bullied by that. You know how it is. Maybe I should give it a chance anyway?

It's a good show, but it's not better than Gravity Falls, AT or the other big ones right now imho. It's a nice slice of life that gets the occasional good lore and adventure, at least until the finale of Season 5 where I stopped. Seasons 2 and 4 are by far the high points for me, after that it was kind of a fall where the writers started fumbling because pandering became a bigger priority it feels. One thing is that it stayed true to Faust's intention and never really became a girly girl show, maybe a western magical girl feel at the most, so there's no harm in watching.

Unless you try to get into the fandom. Boy first thing I stopped was visiting Equestria Daily. Undertale and SU are innocent in comparison. There's nothing to do with gender or age or whatever - the fans REALLY lost sight of what they got into in the first place, turned the whole place into waifu wars, and just whine whine whine every time someone goes against their beloved best pone. For the longest time I believed I was missing something in my utter dislike of Starlight Recolor because everyone praised her to high heavens, then I found out it's because people harass whoever said maybe she was poorly written in.

Not getting into fandom is a rule for me, and I know that the My Little Pony one is enough to make someone insane.

The show is on Netflix, so maybe, when I'm alone on the house, I can watch it. Then I will erase any proof that I watched it.

The non-legit way is also really easy to find, but my only excuse at the time was because I'd miss the saturday streams but an hour or less and wanted to watch it the same day for the commentaries. It's on iTunes as well.

Netflix was just starting to get Season 1 when I quit, pretty sure. I think I skipped most of S1 actually, a lot of the episodes play too safe and are just introducing the basic morals(don't bully, don't lie, prejudice is bad). Definately better to binge watch than once a week like I was doing.

As a fan who stopped watching after the fifth anniversary, I really think that seasons 1-4 are the best. Season 5 really didn't do anything for me, it seemed long, boring, and the pacing of the episodes was really weird compared to before. I don't think I've actually seen any season 6 episodes, but after sitting through season 5 kind of made me weary of the show.

You can make separate profiles on a single Netflix account. Just make one under your name and move all the stuff you watch to there so it seems less like you made it just for MLP and more like you just want your own service with suggestions tailored for you.

Emm Season 6 in my opinion was not that bad.

Well i have no other choice than using piracy to see it. I bought season 1-2 dvds from Platekompaniet.no though. Its likely area restricted on seasons "Depending country of origins etc" for economic profit(Y'know to control market area and interest, free for all i guess would be chaotic, which is just my assumption to why international trade is not a thing in terms of zones and areas of selling contents), so i guess i'll wait til the later dvds comes out "Rubs hooves together"

All the accounts I could make where already used by my family, but there's a Kids account pre-incorporated. So yeah, maybe I will give it a shot.

And Bimle, I was just kidding. I don't judge people who use piracy, since I use it myself.

I didn't touch S6 either, read the whole Flurry Heart story and gave up forever. There's that dragon kingdom episode but again, it feels like they were just answering fan demands for a dragon episode and it's not buying my love back.
Season 5 had GOOD episodes genuinely, Griffinstone, Tanks for the Memories, Amending Fences is actually one of my favorite episodes, but then you have Slice of Life(HEY FANS YOU EXIST DID YOU KNOW WE LISTEN TO YOU HERE'S ALL THE THINGS WE LISTENED TO YOU),two Discord episodes that felt like filler and then... Sigh, Starlight Glimmer everything. I talked enough about this in the dedicated thread.

Doesn't help that they promised a lot more adventuring and I felt cheated when suddenly miss Not-Twilight became the most important thing in the universe quite literally.

I just started to fall off at the end of Season 4 and still haven't caught up to 5 or 6.

Been going through the series again instead to see if it even holds up to begin with. Still mostly does.

I probably sound like I tightened the nostalgia goggles but the fandom was so much better in Season 2. We were super in the dark about everything, Faust still had a hand in the show iirc, and waifu wars were a small echo of Sonic fans past. Season 4 was the last point I could still look at fanart posts without finding borderline r34(seriously don't let your kids see Equestria Daily, they don't even tag pony butts as saucy anymore) or entire news post about X editor's best pone, but the signs had already started to show.

Skip season 3 if you ever do, ITS NOT WORTH IT!

Season 3 is alright. Waaay too rushed though, you could tell that half the episodes did a number on the writing, but Spike at Your Service is really the only truly bad episode imho. But you're definately better off just watching premiere,Sleepless in Ponyville and finale if the slice of life isn't your thing. Don't remember if any of the other episodes have significant developments.
