I'm thinking of buying Subnautica on Steam while it's on sale, but I don't know if it's too good of a game (I've only seen a bit of gameplay for it). Do you think Subnautica is worth buying?

It's still poorly optimized and the wrong combination of base parts and areas will lag and make your save hell to play, but it's shaping up to be something amazing from what I've watched(my pc is a potato don't expect me to have played most Steam games I know). Also lots of fun with fish friends.
I do art!

game runs not so great on my mac but it really is a good game to pick up and explore as it keeps on developing and getting updates from the developers some real found can be had.

If you have good specs, then YES. It states Intel HD 4600 is minimum (my old laptop) and it ran abysmally. It runs perfectly on my current setup (GTX 970) but now that it's off sale, you have more time to decide.
is this hell
or is this just mars
