The PT-BR ones are just cringy. Thanks Skylanders site for defaulting to that and having a glitched language change icon to boot. GD's also "I am the Queen" even if we have supreme in our vocabulary, King Pen's class is Bully(and flipper fu is "fin fu" but we have a word for flipper as well?!), and Tri Tip's catchphrase is "Stare at the mace". Stare/face are the same word but nobody uses that, we use "challenge" instead.

I'm european spanish myself and not seeing what it's so funny tbh.

The spanish version makes perfect sense (except for the double queen), but google translator is so bad it makes it look ridiculous. This is the true version, without using google:

- The translation of "do not hot" for " no te calientes" is horrendous, to say the least. "No te calientes" means, in fact "Do not get angry",s o it is a smart and good translation.

The only mistake is "Reina Queen". The correct translation should have been "Reina Dorada".

Do not trust google translator or other web tools for translations, they are not accurate.

English speakers are not really conscious of how difficult is to speak different languages.

Google Translate is notorious for being bad because it really doesn't get words change on context. Always translate words individually and do the rest of the phrase with your own knowledge.

"Do not get angry" is still a silly phrase since it lacks anything water-related. Isn't there any spanish pun for ice?

I think they intended to make the pun with the "hot" word since it is the opposite of "freeze" or even "water". What I mean is they probably wanted to express something like "Do not get hot/angry or otherwise I'll throw you water /freeze you".

Sort of if luminous said something like "destroying the darkness". Not very creative wise that's true, but still correct in terms of language expression.

Yeah, there are puns for ice as the verb "enfriar" (when somethings gets cold) can be used to express "calming down" and "thinking or making actions without the influence of temporary and intense emotions".

There are also water related words like "torrents" which have a double meaning: the water flow on one hand and as a synonym of "somebody which is excpetional at something" on the other, so they could have come up with something like "¡Un torrente desatado!" which would translate as "Torrent out of control!".

And then there's Italy, where we have the exact same catchphrase for Chill and Freeze Blade, and now possibly King Pen as well.

Same goes for Free Ranger and Thunderbolt, except only the latter has a correct translation.

We did had some really cool adaptations though, such as Rocky Roll actually saying "Watch Out, I'm Rolling!" ("watch out" can be also said using the word "eye", in italian, so I guess you got the pun).

The first 3 were translated to Norwegian before, but when the next 3 were added in English, the original 3 were also changed to English smilie

Phoenix Crystal is the best unreleased Crystal.
Skylanders Academy Season 2 was an improvement.
I don't know what to think of Skylanders' future.

Echicera can also mean warlock since that's what's those class are called in Spanish
Echicera is also used for wizard too
