If you're short, the electrical current will dissipate as the water separates before it hits your body. If you're tall, then the water won't have time to separate and you will be connected directly to the electrical mains through the water.

I wasn't really that into the idea of using Chinese heating shower heads before, but now I'm definitely not doing it.

Though, I suppose as long as it's earthed you would be safe.
