I just took my Dual Credit test and passed but it harshly graded my essay calling my paper unfocused, limited clarity, limited inconsistent sentence structure, limited clarity, yet I had a strong show of grammar and spelling. I just find it weird how a computer can grade such a delicate subject that is writing an essay. Your thoughts on the subject?

Do your job and grade my goddamn paper or don't make me write one at all.

Never heard of them. Closest thing to that I know is turnitin.com

Computer grading is good for spelling and grammar. It doesn't work otherwise.

Only works for things like multiple choice or one-word (or one-term) answers.

It was a typed essay in a with 60 other kids in the classroom. It saves time to have a computer for this test because it is optional.

They don't work well. The same essays I have written that were praised by teachers were as heavily judged as your essay, sP. Nobody else in the class did much better either. I'm not saying I wrote the best essay ever but the algorithms used need to be very heavily tweaked.

Nothing on the computer is graded correctly. If you do one thing different than from what was written on the computer's programming yet still get the same answer, it's wrong.

Err, I only thought they were using computers to check plagiarism? Which I don't mind, because there's too much literature out there for a human to cross-reference things unless the plagiarism is blatantly obvious. <.<;
