i cannot be the only person who finds this show annoying as ****.

I used to just accept it whenever newphews are around, but man it's so bad compared to some other children's shows on the same channel. Doesn't help it really likes to use some insult that gets translated in portuguese to the equivalent of 'moron' and OBVIOUSLY they started using it.

Where is it even now? We still have Discovery Kids in our country so I'm still comparing it to Doki and whatnot.

here in the states its getting new episodes and there's one where they go to the moon to look some lost boots that a ****ing duck stole

This show is on a different level compared to other children's shows, you're right. Mainly because of the random and ominous animal sounds.

It'll never be as good as Dora, no matter how hard it tries.

I haven't seen it but it can't be any worse than Peg + Cat.

Well I mean I would think thats how it goes for most of the shows people watch as a kid.

Dunno, there are some I can still watch and kinda enjoy, like Doki and that one with the imaginary colored animals(dunno about the name, a surprising amount of kid socialization issues treated in a mature way) though of course they get old quick so I just watch when nephews want to see Discovery Kids.
