The reveal was hilarious! They set up this great Crash themed background, the audience is in denial because they don't want to be disappointed.

"That's right, Crash is coming back!"

The audience begins to cheer, their fantasies finally realised.

"... With Crash Bandicoot, 2 and 3 Warped remastered from the ground up!"

The audience cheers slightly quieter, waiting to hear if he'll get a new game...

"... BUT first he's gonna appear in Skylanders in the fall, BYE" and he get's out of there ASAP. Everyone is suddenly silent. All hype completely destroyed.

Let the salt rain upon us!

Crash Backstory:

A wormhole has opened in Skylands and the great Aku Aku appears! He has come to announce the once-in-two-decades Synchronization Celebration--a time when all of the worlds align perfectly. All the inhabitants of Wumpa Island are having a party and they want to invite the Skylanders. But with Kaos on a quest to take over Skylands using his army of Doomlanders, the Skylanders must focus on stopping his evil plans. Just got back from watching the trailer. Since he's most likely going to be PlayStation-exclusive and because of the fact that I was never really a fan of Crash, I can't say I'm too excited. I do think it's pretty cool that he's in here though, and he looks like a fun character whose gameplay does a good job incorporating his PS1 incarnation.

And assuming he is PlayStation-exclusive... Well, Sony Portal Masters, now you know how us Nintendo Portal Masters felt with Superchargers. smilie

I'm also assuming that this will be revealed soon, but... They didn't show off his element, or his battle class? Or if he's even a sensei at all?

EDIT: Never mind about the element and sensei thing, now all that matters is class... I'm assuming Brawler.

Well, you can honestly see it coming from hardcore fans of Crash Bandicoot.

This is yet another way of activision to try and attrack audience. They did this with Spyro, now they do it with Crash. They already tried with DK and Bowser too. This is just audience milking IMO but then again I'm not activision.

Still nothing about him being an exclusive. But then again, he was shown at a PS4 event, soo....?

Although I like Crash a lot, not sure if I need him in Skylanders. Never been crazy about guests. Spyro doesn't count to me since he's a fixture of the series. I guess Crash will be the only "Core" released for Imaginators?

His remastered games I'll get...but what about a new stand alone game for him? Maybe still a lot more to be revealed. While I may change my mind, as of now I don't need Crash for a Skylanders game.

I don't really understand why some fans are upset he's in the game. It's not like him being a guest star this year cancelled any future Crash game.

From the way they were talking it seems like they are going to make the Crash Bandicoot remakes in a similar way to how they made the Ratchet and Clank remakes. Which is AWESOME!
