is it a normal glitch that Imaginators can randomly activate Portal Master Powers we're not supposed to have

because I managed to activate Cyclonic Aura with Bad Juju in the Air Realm and I have no idea how to replicate it

Well the game does use the Superchargers engine. Strange how they left them in there, but TfB usually leaves a lot of scrapped stuff in the data after the game is done.

Yeah it was ok. I think Gryphon Park is better though, mainly because of its non-linearity.

No idea what triggered it because the whole place is an Air area, it was after I hit a random Buzzard Baron. Stayed around for like a whole minute before going away on its own, but it looked and acted exactly like the good old Cyclonic Aura.

It is the same engine but usually TFB is better about hiding cut content, even if it's open space. Wonder if you can activate other elemental Powers if you stick around in the realms long enough...?

Cyclonic Shield, not aura, whoops. The thingy that's a whirlwind around your character that attacks enemies on contact. Bad Juju wasn't in low health either,so it was the activation from the first Power that has it.

There's too much "Grab buckets of water to put out these fires" and not enough "fight these enemies".

I had a good dream about this Q4 ap. I dreamd that i enter the skylanders website and i find out they arr two new senseis: a light bazooker male turtle called om and a dark quickshoot female panther called shadow cat. I watced there "meet the" videos, om called shoot dragon rockets out of his shell, create a shockwave and do some tai chi moves. Shadow cat shooted her pistols, slashed with her claws and could turn invisible.and the ap was called "the shrien of yin yang" both om and shadow cat were with this pack.

Thinking about it, here is what I'd want to see if (or when) they add more characters:
1 Magic (Sheep Creep - Quickshot)
1 Water (Gulper - Sentinel)
1 Tech (Tech Villain)
1 Life (Cuckoo Clocker - Smasher)
1 Fire (Chef Pepper Jack - Swashbuckler)
1 Earth (Brawl & Chain - Bazooker)
1 Air (Dreamcatcher - Ninja)
1 Undead (Undead Villain)
2 Light (Light Bazooker/Quickshot, Luminous - Brawler)
2 Dark (Dark Bazooker/Quickshot, Nightshade - Knight)

Can't think for Undead and Tech right now cause I'm really tired, but I will.

#27172 Posted: 03:40:02 06/04/2017
I think Threatpack would be a better choice for a Tech/Bazooker. They already have Crash Bandicoot's jetpack/bazooka as a base to work off of, they just need to build the idea into a full character.

Plus we really need another troll Skylander. I imagine Boomer must get lonely.

I would love to see Threatpack or even Chill Bill (even though he's technically in-game) become Skylanders, but I'd rather not have other disproportionate figures.
Guess they could find a way to make them bigger, such as giving them mechanical suits, but I'd personally prefer originally big characters such as Chef Pepper Jack and Gulper.

I'm really curious to see if they will add more characters outside of the supposed Adventure Pack's one, but as of now I'm not counting too much on it.

That's... a really arbitrary grouping. You could have equally said "all wave 5 characters are robots or fish people," or "all wave 5 characters are male or female" or even "all wave figures will be primarily made of plastic." smilie

So when doing runs through the game, how do you guys play?

When I played near my stand in the basement with the whole lot available, I'd pick (1) from each element, and one of each type (giant, Trap Master, SF, etc) in there. Since we only go one copy this year for the wiiU, which is played upstairs instead of near my collection (use my senseis and his collection), its been...well I just go with the flow.

I've been trying to think of ways to make it interesting, and was curious what other people do.

With my small collection, I just pick whoever I feel like at the moment or who needs some upgrades. Very easy to just quickly get up, get a hand full of figures that sound like fun today(maybe I'm feeling melee, or helper spawner, or just plain ranged) off my shelves, and back to the desk. No interesting patterns unfortunately : P

I still have to upgrade a handful of Senseis, so I just pick those that aren't on level 20 yet or even need upgrades. When I'm done with that, I think I'll mostly use Imaginators and some old characters I really enjoyed playing.
emeraldzoroark Platinum Sparx Gems: 5375
#27182 Posted: 21:52:14 06/04/2017
I play through all the games again at some point. For SSA and Giants, I play the levels with the characters who's Soul Gems appear in that level. For example, Chop Chop is in Shattered Island. For levels with 2 Soul Gems, I just go half and half.

For SSF, STT, SC and SI, I RNG it. Maybe not for SI though, Since the Soul Gems are simple enough.

I basically follow two simple rules.

The first time I play through the game I always pick my latest characters and use them only inside their respective elemental zones.
It's something I started back during SWAP Force or Trap Team, because I felt it would have made me more confident with the various Skylanders and helped me appreciate each one for what he/she has to offer.

The second rule is bassically a follow-up of the first: each time I buy a new Skylander, I never try him/her out until a zone for his/her Element shows up.
This was again a decision I made while playing SWAP Force, because I felt I was just rushing the characters, immediately placing them on the Portal right out of their packagings.
Now the opposite happens quite often (I still haven't tried out neither Hood Sickle nor Chain Reaction because there were no Tech or Dark zones in Cursed Tiki Temple, and I didn't have the latter while I was playing Enchanted Elven Forest), but at least it makes each character feel more special and somehow "earned".

I'm planning on doing runs to fully max-out all my collection (something I stopped doing after SWAP Force for various reasons) but not before I get to play Lost Imaginite Mines and hopefully the remaining Senseis.

Sorry for off-topic, but I think it is quite coincidental that each Elemental Realm has a bonus Imaginator Weapon of each Battle Class and fitting each Element

Eaglewise Scepter (Air Sorcerer)
Kaos Daggers (Dark Swashbuckler)
Bling Fists (Earth Brawler)
Fire Stars (Fire Ninja)
Seedbasher (Life Sentinel)
Laserblade (Light Knight)
Elven Bow (Magic Bowslinger)
Heavy Artillery (Tech Bazooker)
Bat Ray Zappers (Undead Quickshot)
Ice Club (Water Smasher)
