I really like not having a new game this year, honestly. We have already 6 games, and 186 characters to collect, plus variants, traps, vehicles, magical objects, adventure packs, etc... No new game means time to keep enjoying deeply the games we already have and being able to buy the rest of figures we wanted for our collections, apart from avoiding the huge expense on a new game and figures at the end of the year. Having a game each 2-3 years is the best for me.

I love the break, I don't like the looming threat that it can be forever. If we got a clear 'yeah 7 is coming out we'll just take our time' with no rumors or the TTL genre crumbling around us, everyone would have all the reason to feel great and not be super broke trying to complete their collections/favorites. And hey, unlike the other mobile games, Battlecast ain't dead yet on the multiplayer. I'm super late to the party and I still get tons of human matches, it's great to scratch the Skylanders itch this drought season if you don't feel like rewatching Academy.

There are 2 styles of the Dark Single Crystal pack. These 2 previously have only been found in store at Targets. As you may know, all Dark Element Crystals share the same SKU (just like every other Element, very similar to STT Traps SKUs). Best Buy (and all other stores) lists a Dark Crystal and displays whatever image(s) provided to them, but all Dark Single Crystals are sold under the same SKU, so when you purchase a Dark Single Crystal, you may get the Cube or the Gemstone. Just luck of the draw.

^Yeah. It's basically like that for any online retailer. When they show a picture of a crystal, just assume it could be any mold available unless they specifically state otherwise.

Personally, I would be afraid that Target might accidentally send one of the wrong element. As far as I know, they are the only retailer that groups all the Creation Crystals together in their system with the same number.

Right on. Target is super annoying that way as it's hard to determine what flavors are exactly is in their inventory.
At least with BB, its gona be a Dark crystal or whatever element u select, unless a human packaging error is in play.

So I think I figured out why Dark crystals are the only part of wave 4 that's missing in my city.

I've checked nearly every Target and Best Buy in my city every time I see new crystals show up in their system, but when I get there, the only peg empty is the one where they put the Dark crystals. Then I checked Best Buy's site again and it showed they finally got some Dark crystals in near me. Later that day, however, they were all gone. Back in the Trap Team days, I usually saw this one scalper guy who loved light and dark stuff for its rarity. I noticed he kept showing up when a new wave released and bought out all the light and dark stuff he could get his hands on (there were a few times when he was unsuccessful and tried to argue with the employees). Then when Superchargers released, he resurfaced once Nightfall and Astroblast were out. Every store I went to said they were sold out of light/dark characters and vehicles for a while and when they checked their system, they usually told me the same story about some guy they heard about going to every (insert store chain here) and buying all their new Skylanders; this was pretty much his exact pattern back in TT. After the whole Nightfall incident, I thought he probably stopped due to the declining popularity of Skylanders, but now it seems like that local scalper is back in business. The shortages in my area are following the exact same pattern so far, and unless a scalper is involved, my local stores NEVER have a shortage of Skylanders. Now I'm trying to figure out which order to hit these last few Targets in order to get one step ahead of this guy if he's the culprit. So far it looks like each store gets 4-8 Dark crystals in each week between Sunday and Wednesday, then a day or so later they are all snatched up. I have an entire drive document open attempting to find some kind of pattern in the order that the crystal numbers are dropping from each store on Brickseek, and I'm doing all of this planning and organizing just to be able to make Robbie Rotten in a video game.

TLDR: Infamous scalper near me seems to be back in business. My life and wallet revolves around dank memes.

I had another Skylanders dream the other night, and it was awesome!

1. I dreamed that I went to Target, inquiring about the Dark crystals and the CTT
2. I went to the Electronics desk and asked them if they could look to see what their next deliveries would be.
3. This guy (who was really grumpy and huffy) eventually went on the computer and turned the screen towards me. On it for upcoming release dates, I saw stuff for something called Imaginators 2.0, where there were more Senseis added to the game.

I remember seeing Sensei + Crystal Combo Packs for Glumshanks (who was a Tech Bazooker with an Arkeyan cannon), Chef Pepper Jack (who was a Fire Knight with a giant meat cleaver as a sword) and even Sheep Creep as a Magic Quickshot.

Then I somehow saw some gameplay for Glumshanks. He shot missiles from his Arkeyan bazooka, planted land mines, and then he could summon a cute robot Arkeyan dog that would jump on top of enemies.

It was an awesome dream and I'd love to actually see this happen.

I still don't really like the idea of playable Glumshanks. He was already pretty out of character in SuperChargers with all the taunting - his regular canon is someone who has no assertiveness and would never raise their hand to do any active role, and in Academy he's too busy having a normal life while the rest of the cast tries to kill each other.

Even in Swap Force when he was evilized, he still is too shy to ever go against Kaos.

Yup, and he was still asking himself/the robots what to do. Glumshanks in the games doesn't have a whole lot of self esteem, in Academy he has TOO MUCH self-esteem to care about the newest doomsday artifact discovered by the cast.

I actually like Glumshanks in Academy and Superchargers. They gave him a lot more characterization, especially with Superchargers.

Superchargers I mean the racing. In the story he's still the same character as ever, but it just feels weird to have him yelling at you in the Steam Roller.

I noticed that the release for Wave 5 in EU on the main page is also the 14th now? Where was that confirmed?

Also, on topic, I only noticed yesterday you can hit the Troll Radio for some coins and to change the song. No idea why it took so long, TT's radio did the same thing and my first instinct was to punch it a bit in my first playthrough.

And before you all say oh it can be LIM remember that we have a release date of April 28 from (can't remember what country it was lol) so we're most likely getting that in May

Only one figure unless it's a TWI case, though. I vote for Luminous as a Light Bazooker and Nightshade as a Dark Quickshot, just to fill in the spots

Gulper - Water Sentinel (Has a double ended trident)
Luminous - Light Brawler (Crystal gauntlets)
Cuckoo Clocker - Life Smasher (Birdhouse club)
Brawl n' Chain - Earth Bazooker (Cannon arm that shoots Grinnades)
Sheep Creep - Magic Quickshot (Still has his cork launchers; he can now teleport all over the place and make clones of himself)

Still need to come up with the Tech and Undeads villain in the Bowslinger and Sentinel classes.

Moneybone could make a good Undead Bowslinger, since he can just have a robot suit doing the work. Tech Bowslinger is a duplicate so I don't know about that.

Oh yeah, whoops. Been a while since we did these combinations and had to memorize what was filled.

Also, if we only get a handful, really hoping the AP explains the unredeemed villains. A bit of an impossible plot I'd really like would have is Dreamcatcher take over for a game and just have an entire theme of reality warping, but then someone would complain it's too similar to TT3DS' final stage.

Uh... my Life Crystal in the CTT pack totally broke when I took it out The base detached from the tower and the circuit board can be taken out to. Trying to put it back together

...Free base for your new custom figure? Either way, superglue on the legs should do the trick if nothing broke.
