They never even have a reason for why they removed it. At this rate, the Wii U version will remain my main version and the Switch version will just be for when I wanna play it on the go, or when I wanna start using a new Skylander right when I leave the store.

You won't be able to save back to the figure or use it on any other versions, but... it's so gloriously evil...

Honestly I probably wouldn't try this though because I prefer to have figures of my characters so their data is safe.

So they'll be selling Air Strike without the ability to get his soul gem? Seems a bit weird to me, though I guess it's not unprecedented (eg Knight Light, Knight Mare). With those two, though, there was a follow-up game where you could purchase their soul gem. Might not happen in this case.

Activision, please just give me Tidepool as a single release. You can go as crazy with Ro-Bow and Blaster-Tron as you like. Have a whole Robin-Hood-like adventure pack for Ro-Bow and a crazy futuristic level for Blaster-Tron. But just give me my Quickshot sensei for a reasonable price, please.

Happy to wait and pay more if it means more content. But in fairness if it's going to be $30 it needs to be more than one chapter.

^Yeah it probably should have more chapters, or it could just be one really big chapter like Thumping Wumpa Islands.

I think this addition of an Adventure Pack DLC alongside the release of the Switch Starter Pack and was the best move for Activision and TFB. It puts waves 4 and 5 on more stable ground and adds a lot more content to the game, which will help with the absence of Sky 7 this year. It will also attract new fans due to the Nintendo Switch being a new console and gamers will be looking for games for it.

Well, if they offer him individually for a higher-than-Sensei price, that's good enough for me. I just don't want the useless extra items. Too bad the included crystal isn't one of the two remaining Crystals I want (Dark Edition Dark Crystal, Winged Fire "Phoenix" Crystal) - I could excuse another Mystery Chest if the Crystal had been good.

to be honest i never even thogut that tfb office is tiki themed but if thats what they ment with this cursed tiki tample pack then it can mean three things:
1. nothing
2. protest of tfb on the way activison publish skylanders
3. like what you said darkling, a swansong
i prefear it will be options 1 or 2.

Wild Storm adds the level to the M.A.P, just like crash and cortex add TWI to the map.

Wonder if they'll make Ro-Bow/Tidepool/Blaster-Tron have levels tied to them. (Grave Clobber is most likely gonna be a single pack release.)

They could do an adventure pack with Blaster-Tron, a Dark Crystal, and another chest. Return to the future of skylands?

The rest of the Senseis minus GC and WS giving levels honestly doesn't sound like a bad idea to be honest, as long as they're good ones. Perhaps if they do that we'll also get even more parts for Imaginators?

I just realised - if they can store characters in a 'digital library' on the Switch, then it makes it even more obvious that created Imaginators could also have been stored in a digital library (like the villain vault in Trap Team), and written to and from crystals as required.

Part of me still expects Activision to re-enable crystal resetting after all of the Imaginators waves have been released and the game is no longer current. It would help ensure some longevity for players of the game (though I admit that's probably not something that Activision is overly concerned about).

With the way you have to level up your Imaginators to use certain parts and how you can change everything about your character at will, having a digital library of leveled up characters (all battle classes and elements) would be kind of like cheating... You would be able to create any character immediately without having to work up to it or have more than 10 Crystals.

Getting to level 6 (the requirement to equip ultimate gear) is as simple as taking one or two runs through the Undead Sensei Realm. I'm almost certain that Activision imposed the 'unresettable creation crystal' requirement on Toys for Bob arbitrarily, so that Activision could sell more crystals.

So, when crystals aren't being sold anymore, I think it makes sense to rescind that decision and make crystals resettable.

Well, a new level per Skylander would be cool (and would also partially make up for the regular lenght of the Story) but I'm not expecting more than one extra Adventure Pack, maaaaybe two.
Blaster-Tron and Tidepool could have interesting levels tied to them, I'm picturing the latter's to be similar to Rayman Legends' 20,000 Lums Under the Sea.

Absolutely not expecting them to add the possibility to reset Crystals with the patch but they might still surprise us with some extra features they didn't talk about.

No, I'm not expecting them to add the ability to reset crystals with the Cursed Tiki Temple adventure pack - just maybe sometime far down the line after the Imaginators product line has been exhausted and there's no more profit to be made from the crystals.

Nice find he looks lovely. I love the pastel coloring on all of the blue parts on him and he looks like he's going to be one of the heavier figures.

Oh, that would be sweet!
If anything, it would be a bitter consolation prize if the series truly ends after this year, since I'd assume they might keep the Crystals compatible for a potential seventh game.
