porting old hats into ssc [CLOSED]

Is it no longer possible to add old hats to your collection? I am trying to move all my sf and tt hats to ssc but when I place the toy on the portal it doesn't give me a new hat found message and the hat list doesnt update. Do you have to do something special?

You can obtain every hat in SC, including special figure/code ones, free of charge. They probably thought hat porting like before was pointless, unless it's just not saving - in the WiiU version hat unlocks don't save, even from the store or wishing well.

Unfortunately that method of unlocking hats was only available in Trap Team. In SuperChargers the only way to unlock hats is through the random rewards (or the store, which is also random).

It's also the best way to get rid of all the access money for all ultra-rich Skylanders (with over 65,000 gold coins).

Wasn't enough though. Barely touched that value on Triggs that I had since the Giants achievement because I got lucky with winged sapphires.
