Where's Battlecast? Looks like they have all sorts of packs in this thing...

They haven't spoken of it since the announcement...

I answered you in General Discussion. The packs are coming out with the next wave on March 1st,the game got a new update and a facelift,so it's coming out worldwide soon.

There has been updates over in the Battlecast section for a while.

Yeah they've started popping up in internal databases recently. I haven't followed it much because I really don't care about it though. :/

Buy 270 blond-packed cards and my 596-figure collection does nothing? When the previous mobile games have been so.... bleh. Naw, I'll pass. ;)

You don't need half of that though, UncleBob, just 3 characters and their spells - about 12 to 16 cards since some also have custom Gear, and spells the game gives you for free. And seriously, have three Giants or Trap Masters, Anvilanche and Showdown spells and go to town with any online battle. Also lose your friends.

Where are the links to the information you are reporting? Just wondering because I've heard absolutely nothing.

Unclebob, i'm absolutely not interested since it doesn't honor the thousands I've "invested" already--be it the figures or the cards that USED to come with them. Double hit is the fact that they've removed cards and made the cards i do have useless. I'm also concerned that they will on a whim shut this down and as a result everything you buy will be a "one and out".

I may buy one battle and one booster just to say I tried it, but unless they are not blond packed i won't be going deep.

Release date I think ZapNorris found it somewhere screenshots of the TRU dates, can't remember the source. The rest, Jason from Skylanders Inquires has been helpful and the only one posting info from the NZ/Sweden versions lately - others stopped altogether after the first week.

If you like the selections, one pack is all you need since it's a full team and a spell each. Unless they change it, you get 3 free Skylanders and 500 starting gold(enough for a booster pack),in case you want it digital too.

I just find it very odd that Skylanders or whoever owns the app is going to update the app AND have the cards mysteriously show up, all in 2 weeks time when its not being advertised anywhere in the western hemisphere. I am envious that Sweden and NZ at least have the new version of the app and have card advertisements already but it seems strange to have no one know about these in USA minus one guy who allegedly has inside info at TRU.

Every TRU I know and asked have no clue. The stocking of these cards is done by JM Holdings, not TRU, so the TRU guys have no clue until they get the stuff. Time will tell though.

I am eager to play but annoyed by the lack of information. Nada out there in this country.

And there are only 2 different battle packs, each with guaranteed 3 skylanders base cards, the rest are random. Then the boosters have 3 different card stock packs but I think they are all just random.

They're not all exactly random. Iirc you're guaranteed one type of card(except maybe Relics? I always see Heart of the Forest being rolled and not much else) and several rarities every time.

Have watched all the opening pack videos I saw and wrote down all the cards in a list what they got. There are only 3 specific guaranteed cards in each battle pack, after that, in theory, any pack could have any one single card, that is all I mean by random.

I recall in Jason's unboxing of the first set that someone commented that they'll all have one guaranteed Epic or Ultimate.The Battle Packs all have 3 skylanders and a set spell of each-

Triggs pack will have Concussion for Smash Hit, Impending Doom for Hex and Rummage for Triggs; Spyro pack will have Apli-Flier for him, Beam Barrage for Stomblade, and Hook Shot for Snap Shot. Also noticed Riptide and Hot Head spells are found quite frequently,especially Shark Attack and Mood Ring.

Apparently the TRU listings were removed,which means delay or being changed to an even earlier date.

Never have once seen these on the public site of TRU and I think I have looked every day, thought the one link of TRU posting was an internal one. I keep checking Game Stop, TRU, etc, looking for some sign.

Also wish I could easily get the IoS app from NZ or Sweden to at least start without the actual cards, but figure I will wait.
