(Sorry for my absence guys!)

"I'm Asher, and these two are Orion and Obsidian." The male in question said, glancing about as he and his friends also tried to make sense of what had transpired.

"Yeah, sound is a pretty cool power. If I didn't have such great ones already I'd almost be jealous." Orion added, letting a smirk slip at the thought of the mischief he could get up to with such an ability.

"Greetings are nice and all, but hopefully I'm not the only one that's particularly concerned about what just happened." Obsidian commented, frowning.

((Bump! Im pretty sure we were waiting on you Theuone... but im going to start the main plot now))

Vascou coughed roughly to get everyone's attention, "Do you know anything about this place?" he asked.

"I have a mix of water and fire, it's called steam," Scaldera boasted, "and yeah ... what is going on?"

((oh yeah... silly me))

Vascou looked around nervously, as if trying to avoid any eye contact.
"Nobody is safe here... If you are seen, they will capture you. They survive of the chemical make up of creatures that contain the toxin Acid, so they have to kill us to live."

Vascou shook his head, "they have strict orders to keep their victs alive, which is why you were only paralysed..."

"..." Vascou didn't know how to answer, but tried his best to.
"They... Keep you in electric cages chained to a wall. They leave you there without food or water, and when you're weak enough, they begin to drain your energy using some sort of technology. They store it for their own selfish reasons..." He paused, "then they eat you."

His ears drooped, "I got captured... Those Toxic Dragons you fought were after me since yesterday evening."

Quarry nodded "I see. well after the thrashing I gave them they wont be going after you for quite some time."

"That's scary..." I sighed

"I hope so... thank you," He said gratefully to Quarry.

"So then... above ground is still inhabitable," Kumara said, unhappy about the situation.
Infurno jumped in and grinned, "then why don't we MAKE it habitable!"

Vascou had a look of shock on his face, "Are you crazy!?"

"What do you mean?" I asked Kumara.

I smile and say "I think he is. because it's so crazy that it might just work! I can't see why not, in fact I was going to suggest the same thing so go ahead and call me crazy too!"

Vascou blinked, "are you ALL crazy!? There is a whole army of those barbaric creatures and only a few of you!"

Kumara turned her head to Maria, "We can't live here if everyone is in danger of being captured and killed," she replied.

"Which is why getting rid of them is our best chance. What if we get rid of their leader?" Infurno said as he stood next to Quarry.

Vascou sighed, "good luck with that..."

"look... you may have fought two of them and manage to survive, but the whole army? And you dont even know if they will even care if you take down the leader!" Vascou tried really hard to persuade the group to give up. He had seen things... terrible things... and didn't want his new friends to make the same mistake he did.

"look little guy, we've been stuck underground our whole lives. After seeing what the overworld is like... i wouldn't return home even if i was forced to!" Infurno said back, determined to go on with their initial plan.

Quarry smiled and said "yea. you have no idea how boring it is own their. besides I took down two single pawed and I was just warming up so I say bring it on!" Sora sighed "Vascou, I'm a healer. I don't like seeing others get hurt, but I have to agree with them. I can see the pain you've been through and it hurts me to see anyone in pain like that. I can't allow anyone else to be hurt like that. I can't turn a blind eye to this!" Sora started to cry "I just can't. I understand that you would be afraid to fight. I'm afraid too. but if we don't stop this then who will?"

vascou's ears, tail and wings drooped, "But..." he began but was at a loss of what to say. He could admit that taking them down would be an amazing feat, but there was still a slim chance that it was possible.
"I will... help you," he sighed in defeat, "however i'll leave the fighting to you unless it's necessary."

Infurno grinned in triumph, "cool! So... anything else we need to know about this place?"

Sora smiled "thank you Vascou. we all appreciate it. since I'm no good at fighting you can join me with the task of healing the others that way you can help without fighting."

"Yes, thank you Vascou." I said, overhearing the conversation.

The bat/dog hybrid smiled a little, grateful to be of some service, "of course! And i can also be your guide!" he bounded around the group.
"as for what else... a lot of creatures are hostile, but you can hardly blame them... I mean they live in fear! Also, Toxic dragons never leave their nest without another, so there will always be at least two or three of them around."

"Two or three at a time? That is a lot..." I sighed.

Infurno sniggered at what Icestorm said to Quarry.

"It is... but there are quite a few of us as well. So i believe we have a chance if we approach the situation appropriately," Kumara replied to Maria.

"That is true...." I sighed once more.

Quarry's eye twitched and said "fine I won't engage them. but If they're all that weak then I'll engage them anyways, but only when I know that I have the advantage." Sora sighed shaking her head "Quarry you're as hard headed as ever." Quarry shrugged "egh. I can live with that."

"Right." Obsidian said at Kumara's words, giving a small nod. "While I don't doubt the skills of anyone here, we'll probably need abit more than that and spirit if we're gonna do this, and it doesn't hurt to be careful."

Orion flicked his tail, giving his usual grin. "For once I agree with ya hotshot, even if careful isn't as fun."

Quarry sighed "at least we don't need to worry about another attack for a while." Sora nodded in agreement.

Vascou's tail flicked in apprehension, "Maybe... but they know that you guys exist now and will surely come back with a larger group."

"If that happens we will deal with them like we did before!" Infurno said with over exaggerated enthusiasm.

Kumara glared at the fire dragon and huffed, "If we're outnumbered, that plan wont end very well."

"Way to enlighten the mood Cucumber..."

"It's 'Kumara' you dim wit!"

"I second Icestorm!" I said.

Sora nodded "Icestorm's right if we stay here we wont stand a chance."

Vascou eagerly stood up and ran in front of the group, "Let's go!"

Sora got up and waited patently for Icestorm before she fallowed.

I followed.

Sora walked in pace with Icestorm since he was still technaclly in recovery. Quarry was the last to fallow wanting to bring up the rear.

"So where are we going?" Kumara asked, still glaring at Infurno.

The hybrid slowed his pace slightly, "Before you take on those monsters, you have to save the creatures that they've captured. They have multiple prisons, but the largest one is the one where we're going."

"But wouldn't it just alert them?"

Vascou sighed, "I promised to free them if i managed to escape," he explained, "But i have no idea of how to do it."

Sora nodded in understanding "don't worry Vascou. we'll think of something."

Kumara nodded, "Do you know the layout of the prison?" she asked the hybrid.

Vascou nodded, "When I escaped one of the other prisoners told me the way to the exit."

Quarry shook his head and said "they'll see us coming. I say we go under. I can use my element to make a tunnel into the prison. they'll never see it coming."

"This will be an extreme stealth mission. We have to remain on guard at all times," Kumara added.

Vascou thought about the plan, "Well, I'm sure they would be keeping a close eye on the exit, so I think Quarry's idea will work the best. I was told there are multiple floors, so if you can somehow dig into one of the rooms, then we can go from there."

"What about the freeing aspect? We can't rescue everyone in there..." Infurno doubted.

"Well, the base uses electric circuits to run everything, so there's a small chance that there may be a master switch on each level."

"what about a distraction?" Infurno grinned.

Quarry smiled "I think I can handle a distraction. who knows maybe this will go so well we could capture the prison and make it our base." Sora thought about it and said "ok capturing the prison sounds like a long shot but if we could it would give us a better chance at beating these toxic dragons. not only that but it could serve as a moral boost to other prisoners once word spreads. it could spark a revolution. we could give so many something that they've lost, we could give them hope."
