Do the new Eon's Elite characters unlock Heroics in Giants? Specifically Zook. [CLOSED]

Lately I've been trying to unlock all the Heroic Challenges in Giants by grabbing up LC/S2/S3 characters when I find them cheap.
I hadn't looked much into EE, mostly because I found them too expensive for the first TT set. But the new SC set look different enough that I might just splurge for Zook.

S1 Zook was one of my go-to guys for Nightmare mode back when I first went through the game. Plus his laugh kinda reminds me of my Dad's.

But with S2 Zook having a different challenge that the S1 Zook, I wanted to know does the game see him as a S1 special or a S2 special or something else?
