any reason for this?

i personally think it was better in s&n, where it was more visible to a large majority of the site.

Agreed ... someone bring it back here. It was also more active here.

Can someone who had trouble finding the Greetings thread have some input here? I looked for it in Idle Chatter after I noticed that there wasn't a whole sub-forum dedicated to saying hello. I did look for it in S&N after that, but I did miss it because I already expected it to not exist by that point.

So I said hi on my first thread, which I posted in General (A big mistake because that forum is bloody dead! My first post is still about half way up the list on there, and I had to beg people to respond to it!)

And my first thought when I DID find it was "Wow, that's a lot of stickies, no wonder I missed it".
