that vote was one of two reasons why i didn't buy them during festivals because i thought i could just pick them back up later (+ they were hideous) but ???????

I'm guessing they'll return the next NOTN, since not all of the crowns have been released yet, even though half of the bears returned for last NOTN, which is inconsistent and confusing.

I think they're just cycling back next year during the holidays instead of having a new item.

Brewable bears and you can get chests from Swipp by using mismatched items. So there's also incentive to grind in two venues per day!
Undel you said they were fixed BEFORE everyone started complaining don't try to pretend it's not supposed to be like it was yesterday. If it changed dunno, won't get into my logged on PC for the next few hours.

At least a good way to get rid of butt rocks, if anything. No one needs to remember they exist now. Still gotta grind for chests instead of selling though, that nocturne scroll isn't going to deflate anytime soon.

Well, now you can stick them into a pot until they become a disfigured single colored mess as revenge.
(yeah, I know the most common application is that they only give their magic or some crap, otherwise they'd give WAY more muck than they do now)

EDIT: Ermergerd, Nocturne Egg, of course it's from scavenging and not chests. Dunno if I'll hatch or sell yet but I'll wait for the end of the event first; this thing's value could finally get me a Butterfly scroll later on.

This is still pretty unbearable in my opinion. Still struggling to find chests. At least I can brew them. Last year was better than this in my opinion. You mostly got crap in the chests, but when you get a few hundred to a thousand chests, you still get stuff you want and can buy what you don't for dirt cheap.

I think I'll just buy everything I need at the end. Was kinda hoping for a Tsuchi this year to go with Hi, Mizu, & Kaze, though i can buy him too I guess. Don't need the scroll, but it would help immensely.

I gave up on brewing because EVERYTHING GIVES ME ORANGE OOZE and I ran out of yellow last week grinding for levels,so Swipp's been my salvation here. Drowning in Mimic Powder though,would gladly trade some for more Ooze because it's not like I'd have time to brew all of it anyway ._.
No luck in getting anything but that egg either. Bears, some of the new familiars which is nice but won't be in a bit, and nearly no chest drops to begin with.

You know what'd work a lot better now? Bring back the old chest drops+junk, but tweak the rates obviously so the good stuff isn't 1 in 500, and keep the Swipp trades. That way,chests are super cheap so not everyone needs to grind to exhaustion in coli, and you can just trade them for MORE chances. Might not work,there should be a way to have both - maybe "minor" chests that do that, which drop in the same rate as festival currency? Strange Chests as they are stay,but grinding stops being so worthless in the long run.

Up the drop rate a tad and up the number of items a chest gives. This way you do get more in the long-run and have a better shot at getting stuff you want. As is, you go for hours get a couple chests, then open for a single item of disappointment. There's too much available to realistically obtain everything this way.

I'm having trouble with Yellow Ooze as well. Have gotten every color except Yellow. Thankfully, I can do the deal for 2 chests and have one going.

Found another in Coli and got one of the chest familiars (which I already had all 3 from last year), but got one from Swipp and got the Ice Mimic, so woo!

Gah, completely done for today. I'll go play some videogames that don't take copious amounts of grinding, I'll check if Swipp has any easy trades from my leftover loot and brew but no more horrid Coli lag.

Well..I wasted all my turns on digging but I got one chest..and it had a single familiar. Yay?

They all give out a single familiar or apparel e_e' would be nice to have like a 20% chance of getting an extra but I didn't hear anyone speak of more than one yet.

last year they all gave out one except for the very occasional trinket/egg/scroll

But I got a pretty nice schedule for grinding I think, even if it's just compensating for the crappy mechanics. I look up whatever trinket I've got the most of, and go grind for the corresponding food, and when the trade shows up I have less time to waste scrambling for more. And,for the trades that aren't in the same place(who had the brilliant idea of having the Wooden Marionette items be in the same trade anyway? His spawn rate suuuucks), I already have a head start in the next match.

I pretty much gave up on Flight Rising. There is too much going on with my life... university, trying to get a job but no luck so far, yet I need to save up money to move out. *sigh*

This website just feels like a huge chore, and I just hate how everything takes ages to get and requires you to spend hours doing boring stuff. It's a pet site to pass time for christ's sake.

Well, in here you can start with more than most pet games(rare gene dragons are cheap if you don't mind bad colors,etc etc), but the effort curve catches up QUICK with the grinding.

Well, noc scrolls are getting cloooose to treasure I could easily make to buy it. Wondering if I wait until the end of the event to try and get it for free, or sell chests from tomorrow on and just get it already.

It is but hey after these two weeks I'll have enough for anything Swipp could offer me because the items are on almost all venues. I only really joined for pretty dragons,so it's reason enough to go for that scroll by making money or by getting it for free - but money seems less of a gamble so doing that. Might not make me stay for the long run but who knows,maybe ONE DAY they'll finish Adventure Mode and I'll be able to play with my dragons instead of static images that do weird effects.

sadly it's only a static battle simulator with no story.

I remember reading in a Words on the Wind that they have plans for a bigger RPG-like thing that uses the assets from Coli, but has actual depth other than max stats on Attack and Quickness then done. Of course, this seems to have been in development since forever,but it'll have quests and actual plot so it seems a good thing to look foward to.

I'm hoping for two so Aether gets company,but not getting too upset if I don't. One to keep and one to sell in July like everyone's doing.

And yeah, I gave up on dragon personalities too. I have a simple few on the ones I worked the most on(Emissary is a thankless healer, Octave is violence prone despite her delicate looks, Corvid is edgy but no one is having any of it), but if there were branching paths for different dragons on Adventure Mode it'd definately be incentive.

EDIT: Selling chests for 40k treasure and the occasional one for 50-60 gems lifts such a weight from my back. The Noc scrolls inflated overnight but if I make as many chests as I had these last few days,that won't be a problem for sure.

EDIT: OBJECTIVE ACHEIVED! I was hoping the price would lower some more after it hit 650k again but it started rising again right after,didn't want to risk it. Ain't Aether the cutest thing? >w<

I love how I've found six or more Strange Chests and haven't found anything worth while, but my mom has only found three and got something good each time.

I've got seven chests today out of the same venue in Coli, thought it was a sign and opened one to more bears; not pressing my luck, I'll just keep on selling them and buying whatever prize I ACTUALLY want.

Found and opened 16 chests. Gotten 5 familiars I needed.

Hatched this thing awhile ago and forgot about it.



I have no idea how much it's actually worth. Eh.

I'm just gonna go back to hunting for Strange Chests in the form of glorious combat.

By the end of this event I'll just end up having a massive Cuckoo slaugher. What's up with those birds that always manage to drop even when the other foods don't? It gets me ahead on their trade but because I don't hate myself I grind for the Guises on the Woodland Path, so MORE CUCKOOS.

My luck with Strange Chests is actually beginning to change for the better. In the sense that when I do find one, I actually get something worthwhile. Yay for me, I guess.

Butterfly on Noctunes is the best,their wings are so plain but most secondary genes just make them either too tacky or still too little detail. Shame it's still horribly expensive to get even from hatchlings.
