This world is slowly dying.

I seriously doubt stereotypical southern people existing is making the world slowly die, especially considering that population of people and their beliefs are slowly dying.

I hate the generalization of conservatives and republicans here, there's extremes of every group, and because the liberals voice is being heard more, the conservatives are always being shown negatively

To be fair, it did look like a bomb. And for some reason the kid is treated like a celebrity. Doesn't matter if he was muslim or not, it looked like what it looked like. Which was a bomb.

Yeah, IEDs can look like anything. I understand the caution.

What I don't understand is why the kid was arrested on the spot without a bomb squad/EOD team being called at any point.

He was invited probably because Obama wants to encourage kids like him to be creative and smart rather than afraid of incidents like this.

Personally, I think that was an attempt by President Obama to try and lessen the appearance of America's Islamophobic image to foreign powers, what with the Iranian nuclear deal and such. Maybe not the best idea.
