australia has had them every six months or so for the last eight years

Watched it for over an hour, but couldn't get good pictures at all. I blame clouds and all the neighborhood lights, coupled with cruddy camera (though my mom's higher quality camera didn't really do a whole lot better, either).
And then the clouds decided to hide it. Oh well. What I did see was really cool. |

I was outside at the time, though I feel the east coast of the US gets a lunar eclipse of some variation fairly often. A solar eclipse on the other hand I've never seen and I really want to.
