I'm quite literally the exact the same person here as in real life, I talk and act the same

Do you act differently here? In real life?

I act the same, because up until a while ago, this was pretty much my only interaction with anyone except my family, and that's the only way I've learned to act with people.

IRL, I never say anything to people who I'm not friends with unless I'm spoken to first, but on here, I'm more apt to make more friends.
But other than that, I'd say I'm the same. Maybe that I talk more IRL.

I'm more sociable here and I'm not as kind here as I am in real life(its not really noticeable though). Oh, and I tend to share my opinions more often here. Otherwise, pretty much the same IRL.

Way quieter, and definately not swearing as much - even the retrained gosh darn it to heck language I use here (I definately use the actual expletives in other places).
I'm also less more willing to call people out, but that must apply to everyone here really.

In real life, I'm pretty sure you'd never notice me if not for my hair. I am so quiet and not confrontational at all. If you did decide to talk to me, it'd be pretty difficult unless you're good at conversation because I stammer, get embarrassed and try my hardest not to offend you. So kind of like on here, but to a huge extent.

on here im really open about a lot of things but in real life its really really hard to express my feels and stuff

I'm exactly the opposite. I'm less likely to call people out here then in real life.

I'm a bit more shy and cowardly irl and that's why I attempt to be more open here

If I get comfortable around you I'll act like my online persona. :/

The only difference I can see is that if I offend you on here, it's most likely on purpose. I have no "brain-to-mouth" filter, but I do have a "brain-to-computer" filter.

I've improved, though. I used to be more shy in real life.

Too be honest I'm not really shy but just awkward and quiet. If I don't know you then I'll act alien but if I do I'll goof off like I do here.

In reality, I rather not speak at all. I'm a pretty much non caring person for life. I'm a bad socialist and I'm more in my bed or in front of the pc than being energic. I'm far from nice IMO too...

About the same as here really. With minor differences.

I'm more likely to call stuff out IRL because I can actually see what's going on in front of me and the impact it has. And because talking is quicker than typing (sometimes I don't call stuff out online because I literally can't be bothered typing up a post).

I use much more Irish humour IRL because online, nobody would get the jokes. To most people in the US (i.e. majority of the internet), Ireland is still like this magical fairy tale place with leprechauns and rainbows and pots o' gold. Nobody actually knows about all of the cultural quirks in Ireland and all of the inside jokes and slang words, as well as the variety of accents, so I don't really reference them online. I think this has a lot to do with why I come off as very proper online, because "internet humour" and memes and what not is always at least slightly forced when I do it, so I don't joke as much as I normally would. Also, a lot of these kind of jokes just aren't the same without an accent to go with them (truthfully I don't have a strong Irish accent at all. In fact I've had people mistake me for an American plenty of times. However, I can easily force any Irish accent for the sake of a joke - and many other accents too).

And since about 2 or 3 years ago, I've kinda stopped being as active in keeping in touch with online friends. I guess I just got involved with too many people online and it kinda got overbearing. A lot of people only talked to me when they had a problem and wanted help too, and never really came to me just to ask how I was or to casually chat, and didn't really respond when I went to chat with them. I was also in the dS Skype group for a while and I did well enough in there, but nobody from it continued to talk to me after I left (and I believe I only ever did because I was doing my Leaving Cert and that was overall a tough time too - I don't think it was related to any drama).

I sort of have this problem IRL but it's nowhere near as bad. I at least a have few people I talk to and hangout with regularly enough IRL. Online, CAV is the only person I still talk to regularly on a private level and actually know much about beyond what he does on dS.

It depends really. I guess I'm way more open about stuff on here and I find it a lot easier to socialize and I fit in more with people here than the majority of people IRL. But I guess with a few of my really close IRL friends I'm pretty much the same as I am on here if not slightly more weird and random. However for me the main thing isn't whether it's online or IRL it depends on how close I am to the person, and I have a few online friends who I'm extremely close to so yeah.

I am quite the same in real life and in here. I speak only when I feel like it, ignore quite a lot of things and overall give a vibe of isolated hermit git. But one difference is that in real life I am verbally so challenged that even producing a logical and well-flowing sentence is a mighty and heroic task to me. So there you are.

I'm way more quiet and non-talkative IRL, and incredibly awkward when in conversation.

I'm generally more quiet and introverted irl than I am on here. Otherwise, I think I'm about the same.

Currently, i actually talk less on here. I might not have a lot of friends IRL, but i still have people i sit with and joke with. I like to say i give people the cold shoulder IRL, but it turns out i do it here more than IRL. When people try to talk to me, i kinda just laugh if itms a joke or have a tiny convo with them. I'm still a bit bashful when talking to older people but *shrug* Here, I can tlak about more things but there aren't many i talk to. Sure i'll quite a post here and there, but usually i'll just hang out on chatzy and talk with Seiki or Kard. Other then this, i do act the same most of the time. I sometimes drag on conversations and don't exactly underatand when to quit talking. It's been a problem for me both IRL and here.

I'm annoying both on here and IRL , but it's kinda confusing because I'm more open about different things. On here in open about personal things (I wouldn't really admit any of the things I feel In personal thoughts to anyone else really , maybe only a few people) but I'm much more talkative IRL , I feel like I'm sorta quiet on here at times. I do enjoy talking to people IRL and on here too.

More mature and quiet irl, I said alot of things I regret on here but they are things I said because I thought I was fitting in with the craziness of this forum
