I was 2 when 9/11 happened in Australia so I have no idea how this happened so it doesn't affect me

My cousin was a firefighter during 9/11. I was only 1 (turning 2 in 11 days), and was in Connecticut. My dad was in the navy and the base was under guard afraid we were under attack.

Saying this, I don't understand what people went through, but I feel sympathy for the victims and hope nothing like this will ever happen again

I was 4 and at school. We kids didn't know what was going on but we were told to go into the hallway and cover our heads. We were all sent home early and when I got home I saw the smoke in front of my kitchen window and all the adults huddled around the TV. I was too young to really realize what was going on but was told "The Twin Towers fell".

I was 6 and in school as well. I remember putting candles out the next day to remember them.

I was 6 years old, but I honestly don't remember it at all because my parents kept it from my sisters and me so we wouldn't get scared. But my mom told me that she pulled us out of school because since the attack on the Pentagon was only a few hours away from us, she was worried that the Norfolk Naval Base would be attacked next, which was only like half an hour away from us, so she wanted us home with her.

It's kind of awkward for me though because it's supposed to be a day of remembrance but it's also scf's birthday so it's supposed to be a happy day lol >3<

But I hope the victims and the family/friends of the victims all find peace.

I was 5 at the time. I don't know what the **** was going on, and I was sent away from school that day. I saw on TV what happened, and back then I was shocked. I knew what happened at the time, but I didn't understand the magnitude of what happened until years later. It's still pretty haunting to this day.

I can't remember too clearly, but I think I was in school and the teachers brought in a TV to show us the news of it for whatever reason. I was 6 years old.

I don't know why they would bring in a TV to show us that (we didn't really get what was going on, and we are Irish - I'd understand if I was attending school in the US). But it was a thing that happened.

I was three years old living in Canada, and I heard nothing about it at all for years (I was most likely too young to remember seeing anything on the news)
