(Warning some language in said video, you have been warned. Oh and spoilered for thumbnail flip off.)
I don't usually care about politics, but this news has made me and several other anime fans pretty mad. Not to mention this will also affect not just anime and manga fans, but also another fandom I am clearly a part of. (I don't need to say as it is pretty obvious)

The language and the way he simplifies things in the video honestly make me feel like he's fear mongering. Also don't act like this is being made specifically as if to target the anime/manga community.

Also would this agreement also technically apply to any Japanese entertainment and exports, including properties of Nintendo, Square Enix, Konami, Sega, etc?

It almost sounds like a more extreme version of SOPA. Honestly though, I feel like it isn't going to get very far? Like people were making such a huge deal about SOPA a few years ago and then it all sort of just died.

It does affect video games and any other fandoms that use what is technically not there material to make stuff. Including fanfiction, fan art, AMVs, and of course fan made games based on other source material. It does affect more then anime/manga fans, as I said before this does affect another fandom I am a part of in a way that it HUGELY impacts said fandom.
