Perma-Permadeth being introduced in new video game [CLOSED]

I was looking around, and I found something interesting. Some upcoming game (called Upsilon Circuit) will have Perma-Permadeath, where if you die, you can never play again. (Source). Also, apparently the audience (players watching) can pay real money to put obstacles in the players way. Thoughts on this new game?

Sorry if this should be in the video game section, I didn't think it should be, because it's not about a game about to release anytime soon. If it shouldn't be here, fell free to move it, mods.

Sounds more gimmicky than Jigglypuff in Smash.

looks interesting actually
but i feel like it'll be pretty unpopular cause most casual gamers dont enjoy watching people play a game, but rather they like playing it

so i think its gonna flop tbh

I remember some freeware games that did that, but they're,well, freeware(can't remember any names though, and some could be actually modified to be played again). You had the experience and didn't lose anything but time over it, actually a plus since it's an interesting mechanic.

Sounds about as fun as lose/lose.

The thing I never really wrapped my brain around until now was in order to be remembered, in order to leave something significant behind, you have to leave

i would much rather have roguelikes come back... smilie

this sounds pretty edgy and may be interesting to watch, but really i feel neutral at the moment until i learn more about how this game will work/function, generally.

The game that is literally pay to win (and by win, I mean ruin someone's ONE chance to play a game. I can see a bunch of super rich people be all "Oh lets use our money to ruin there one chance")
I actually think I may pay for this! It looks really really fun

This is the sort of thing I would not try until I know others have and I can hear impressions and strategies.

If I go in prepared I'm sure I can get my money's worth.
