Nintendo should really be hopping aboard this train themselves. I mean aside from the preloaded data (which is obviously stolen), the device itself just seems to be a convenient way to use your amiibo without having to take them off the shelf every time. So why not just release an official version?

Same reason why none of the other TtL makers have done anything like it - they want you to get attached to and use the actual figurines, not just the data they contain.

Soon Nintendo will discover this thing. Expect harsh battles in the tribunal.

Heard about this but honestly don't care. They are obviously selling his to people who can't find their favorite characters whoch I hope manages to make scalping not as common.
