Roughly how many times have you been shocked and why? [CLOSED]

I mean literally, while I lost track I think I been shocked about 25 times in my life. (Very rough estimate)
15 or so being those static shocks (from stuff like socks on the carpet then touching the door or from slides and then touching someone.)

The last 10ish being accidental when placing something electrical into a socket with a hand that didn't feel very moist but still shocked me due to the moistness.

Once. It was very mild and it didn't hurt after a while but it was when I was smaller so I can't remember.

I actually got electrocuted when I was 12. I still have the scar on my hand.

Never been proper shocked but I get static shocks at least 2 times a year

I often recieve static shocks, at least once a month.
However, when I was on vacation/ holiday (in Spain), I wanted to write something down quick, I was in a shop so I just grabbed a pen off of the shelf, I clicked it and I recieved a shock (it was on of those shock pens, image below), I literally threw it out of my hand without thinking about it, it really was a surprise.

I thought you meant shocked as in frightened. Then I was wondering how you've kept track of how many times you've been shocked.

I've been shocked occasionally. They're all minor, like from unplugging something.

Never have never been shocked in my life. I've had a lot of static shocks though, if they count. Although I haven't had any static shocks in the last few years, I did get them a lot when I was younger.

A lot of times for small shocks, and we used to have a stupid extension cord that was hard to take out of the plug thing and i don't remember how because I was like ten, but I managed to get it halfway out and it sent a shock down my arm, so that's the worst one I've ever gotten.

It's usually just in the winter time when I use my hair straightener cause my hair gets kind of dry and you can physically see the static cause sometimes the hair will stand up. Like last year I kept shocking myself and my friends, and eventually we made a joke that whenever someone was shocked it was automatically my fault lol

one time in middle school or something i was playing mario and luigi partners in time on my spankin DS lite and it was time to charge it again. i tried to keep playing while charging it and wasn't paying attention and ended up getting zapped because my stupid dumb idiot hand was on the metal bit on the plugin. no damage was done but i was sure to not do that again

One time I was shocked hard when plugging in my laptop because I was stupid and accidentally touched the metal part of the plug in.
