Yeah so I bake a lot to help stress, so I tend to do it a lot during finals week. Don't ask why it helps me relax because I don't know either.

Anyway, my level of skill in terms of baking is skilled enough to be deemed as a "damn good baker" amongst my peers, but not good enough to really pursue a carrer or make my own recipies. I make things from scratch mostly, because honestly they just taste better. However BECAUSE I'm not that skilled to be a "pro baker", I want to grow as one. This is where you guys come in

You can either request recipies here or send them to me in PM. This can be a range from any recipie, to baking blogs or Pintrest. I'll log my progress here and you guys get to see pictures of the recipe product vs my product and review of it. Maybe if this gets popular enough I'll make a video log or something.

Also, make it fun! Search up stupid recipies like...oh I don't know Dorito flavored cupcakes? I honestly don't care I'll make it anyway because chances are I'll be just as curious. Let this be an...Expectations Vs. Reality topic.

Strawberry cupcake pies. Make cup cakes and use them as the dough for the pie. Then do anything for the filling but I think strawberries would be good. I'm pretty sure this idea has never been done but idk

Cupcake dough doesn't make a very good substitute as a pie dough. It would be too thick and soft to form a shell. Unless you can find a recipie, I sadly can't make it :c

So, how were they?

Taste wise: AMAZING. It had a nice, sweet, buttery flavor that I always strive for when I make my cookies from scratch. Not only that, but you don't taste the cheese. Instead, you FEEL it. It's hard to describe, but you know that aftertaste feeling when you eat a Cheez It? The watering of your mouth and that crave for more? That's the aftertaste of this cookie, you honestly would not of expected that Cheez Its were a main componet. What's great is that this recipie creates a batch of 2 dozen, so you can share tons of these huge cookies with the people you love!

Here's the bad - the texture is horrible. Now, everyone likes a soft cookie, right? I sure do. However, a cookie can still have that crumbling feeling in your hands. There's an almost grainy feel to it, but in a good way. These cookies do not have that feeling. It's that of a sponge cake.
Now people who just want a good tasting treat: go right ahead. However those who criticize a treat based on its texture, well, this is some bad news. I didn't WANT a sponge cake, I wanted a cookie.

Another bad part of this recipie is that this recipie was badly written. I had to assume when I had to put certain components in, it was a true test of my baking knowledge. Don't let these bad component stop you from trying though!
