Don't bring things you don't think you'll need. You can still bring personal items but don't take your entire room with you. Bring as little as possible, makes the move easier.

Remember that everyone else is just as nervous as you.

Be social and take part in stuff. Making friends makes the transition to university life and independent life a lot easier.

Make sure to bring lots of quarters for laundry if you need to.

Don't procrastinate.

Coffee will probably become one of your best friends.

So will naps tbh.

Take lots of notes, and studying really does help.

Make sure to have fun too, though.

But not too much fun.

It's okay to take time to relax if you need to.

Take your laundry out of the washing machines when it's finished. Don't be that asshole who leaves their clothes in there all day Sunday.

And don't set off the fire alarm at 2 o clock in the morning. Actually just don't set it off at all generally.

This too omg. Same with the dryers.

And try not to do laundry on the weekends cause the laundry rooms are always mad houses then (at least they are at my school).

Just make sure you can save money and remember all of the living essentials (bathroom items, washing items, bed things, etc.).

Also do you need advice for living there or for college in general?

Well, since I don't have to move out of home to go to university I can't help you in that department. Study wise, try to get things done as soon as possible and you'll be surprised by how little you need to study to pass.
