Hahah yeah, I feel kind of bad for complaining how he never gets involved with the members like other forums do but hearing this makes a lot of sense.
I mean being introverted is one thing but he sounds super shy, he doesn't even thank the interviewers for complimenting the site that's pretty damn shy poor babbu

Yes I was quite nervous doing that, not at all used to doing podcasts or anything like it. And if you think that intro was bad you should have heard it before the edit. smilie

Matt and Doug were brilliant hosts and doing this really made me appreciate the work they do every week. I know I couldn't do it (as evidenced by the interview).

You still did a very good job! You had a casual conversation with them, laughs were shared, and even though you sounded nervous never was there a point where the interview turned awkward.

I applaud your efforts for doing something that made you so nervous, would you ever do more podcasts after that experience?

I'd probably be quite nervous if I was to do an interview. It was a very interesting interview and it made me realise how much hard work you put into the site. Good to know that you're a member of the swap force master race smilie (although by the looks of things, SuperChargers looks like it could take the cake).

Hmhm, guess I need to come out of the RPs more often ^_^

I use to be all over the place, then life happened.

It was only here recently that I realized just how much work our admin, dark52, puts into this site, for all of us. I mean, sometimes I wish I had more time to put into this fandom, but my attention span is kind of short when it comes to certain things XD

But yeah, I had thought about the effort required to run such an establishment(for lack of better term), but never put it into perspective, i think we all, kind of, owe a great deal to our admin for all he has done(even if it is all done in spare time(jk)). I applaud you, dark52, and thank you for the time I have been a part of this site, no matter the ups and downs it may go through.

I'm assuming this is Dark's first interview. I'm sure they'll come along more naturally now that he's gotten his first out of the way. Maybe you won't be as shy next time?

Also this is making me think we should have dS podcasts or something and drag Dark on there too.

Best I can think of are Skylanders, older Spyro games, general dS going ons and issues, and interviewing a user/mod/admin.

Depending on how active things are on the site and what could be come up with, I can imagine a dS-centric podcast being a bi-weekly (as in once every two weeks) or monthly thing.

If you mean things relating to what to ask Dark, then probably things more related to the site and users themselves.

That sounds like a really nice and fun idea, although I doubt it would become famous in anyway. But who knows? The only community centric podcasts I've ever listened to was Night Vale, and those are fiction.

If we was to have a DarkSpyro podcast, we should split it into sections.
1. Skylanders (hosted by 3/4 users interested in skylanders)
2. Spyro (hosted by 3/4 different users interested in spyro)
3. S&N (hosted by 3/4 different users that discuss trends ect)

Or it could just be pure skylanders.
Anyone actually interested in doing one?

I'd be up for it, any section is fine with me, though I'm more of a Classic to Legend series guy though. Haven't had time, money, or patients for the Skylanders series, though they are good games to play with friends. My only problem with said bi-weekly or monthly podcast would be my availability. Being military has its gives, but it also takes, so I know I will not be available(depends on how things go around that time) in Augusts and October (field stuff).
