Why are none of the Skylanders Mermaids? [CLOSED]

We have loads of random creatures, but we have yet to get a Mermaid.

Gill Grunt's gf has been shown to be a mermaid so they clearly exist, so why have none made the Skylander ranks?

Probably hard to design a Mermaid that would look right walking around normally.

It doesn't have to walk, it could have a clam or something like that.
