Its true. She's been going on about this because Taylor Swift was nominated but she wasn't.

Like no, its not because your'e black. Its because your music videos are 90% twerking and 10% every other sexual activity society would allow in a music video.

It's because Taylor Swift sells and is an all around more family friendly and safe act compared to the more raunchy and edgy Minaj. Yes I know Miley Cyrus of all people is hosting the VMAs but they still want to be slightly tasteful and Taylor Swift is the biggest pop star on the planet right now. There's no way she doesn't walk away with nearly all of the awards she's nominated for.

It's not about who's music is better or worse (both are mediocre).

EDIT: Also Shake It Off had twerking in it. Taylor isn't fully innocent even if she wasn't the one doing it.

Meh, radio pop is a lost cause, in my opinion.

Honestly, Nicki just sucks. She's a terrible person and singer and doesn't deserve to win a music award. She hasn't made any quality music worth awarding. I rather like some of Taylor's songs and may hold slight bias, but it still is true that she is a better musician and performer than Nicki ever will be. It has nothing to do with her skin color, it's a matter of who's better. Nicki needs to quit being a butt-hurt sore-loser, accept she lost to the better woman, and try to better herself to actually be worth the award.

Nikki is little more than a sex symbol and Taylor writes on the emotional and cognitive level of a middle schooler.


They're both insignificant. At least, no more significant than the rest of us.

^I completely disagree with the point about Miley and Taylor, as I find them both to be void and meaningless pop culture personas, just like Nicki.
