Catching Fire. Sure, they left out a few things *coughSTILLBITTERABOUTBONNIEANDTWILLcough* but it was really good and did the book justice.

Guardians of Ga'Hoole; I love how the movie turned out, and they could use a sequel.

**** you that movie was absolutely horrendous compared to the book.

I will admit the series did go downhill, though. It was supposed to be the Lord of The Rings for a younger generation, but it really wasn't... except for the fact that I did actually read it while I still haven't managed to make it through The Fellowship of the Ring.

Probs City of Ember. The books were suprisingly timid compared to the movie, which was way more intense.

I enjoyed Eragon (as in the book), but I couldn't get into Eldest and ended up giving up on it. :\

I think my main issue with the books is that they're written so well to the point it's too much for me. I prefer books that are more easier to read, since I can find those books more entertaining.

Harry Potter series and the Hunger Games series.

Percy Jackson was ok but they changed a lot and was just ruined out of proportion.

I'm going to go with The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.

The religious messages aren't as strong in the film which i found nice.

I have loads i could name, including an all time fave of mine, The Talking Parcel.

I recommend looking it up on Youtube.

"................... Moon carrot Pie, Moon carrot Pie

It'll liven you up, bring a gleam to your eye.

Oh, a cow in a manger, a pig in sty

They all love their slices of

Moon carrot Pie..................................."

That's just part of the song smilie

The Hunger Games series excluding the first, but only because I liked the first so much that even the movie couldn't best it. I'm also going to be killed for this, but...

I didn't like Catching Fire(the book), and thought the film was pretty much superior in a lot of ways to it.

The Harry Potter adaptations, because even though they do skip some things every now and then, they still do a great job at representing the HP universe.

i wouldn't call it well written at all, the books had way too much purple prose. that only impresses the author and is bad writing and annoying to slog through
