Ok so today I was thinking...what if there was a Giants Dark Edition starter pack? Jet-Vac and Cynder would both look pretty cool, but how about Tree Rex? He would look awesome!

What do you guys think?

It's got to be Wave 1 figures as additional ones in the starter pack. Also the SSF Dark Pack had five figures. I'm thinking the same starter pack figures, as well as other ones I would think is cool in Dark...

I would have loved a giants dark edition, gotta agree tree Rex would have looked awesome, cynder would have been a nice choice with her being the original reformed villain albeit from the spyro franchise and jet vac would have looked cool as well. I don't think we will see a dark edition charecter 5 pack again, with the direction of the franchise going with addiing extra items like traps and vehicles to in a way complimenting the skylanders and adding new ways and options to play. It would be nice to see the franchise come back too it's roots and have a game focused on the skylanders themselves I don't read the comics or books so I don't know if it has been addressed gill grunt is looking for his love and stealth elf is looking for her past, it would be cool in my opinion to go on missions helping other skylanders on there personal quests or quests that unlock more charecter lore.

We got something better!

Instead of a plain, boring "Dark Edition", we got the superior Glow-in-the-Dark Edition, with GitD Cynder and Portal. 3DS owners were able to get in on it *and* it didn't cost more than the regular versions. :D

Agreed...they used Glow-in-the-Dark paint on Cynder instead of the Glow-in-the-Dark plastic that the bases skull is made of...she looks really bad.

My wife hates the GiTD Cynder. She calls her "booger" Cynder.

I think Ninjini would make a good addition to a dark pack.

As for cores, i'd go with Flash Wing and Chill.
