English homework makes a great combination with it. Especially when you have to do like pages worth of questions. Though-

this new Blast Ball games interesting to watch right now. FPS + sport = good

I am, not rooting for anyone as Jovenshire lost VERY EARLY. I am really mad as I was rooting for him the whole time!

Yes, it's almost 1am here in the UK. I wasn't planning on sleeping anyway. Who needs sleep when you've got nintendo!?

>Egoraptor repped Rosalina
>One of the commentators hyped her up as the best MK8 character, as it should be.

I'm so happy.

Did anyone expect Super Mario Maker as the final game?

I did. It's familiar, yet a new challenge. It's really fitting.

Yay, the guy repping Shulk won! Now the whole world knows of the Monado's power. ^.^

He was really feeling Mario Maker! *brick'd*

In all seriousness, I'm actually really happy one of the qualifying round winners actually got to win, although it looked more like Cosmo choked big time on the NSMBU stage in Mario Maker. But I'm not going to backseat game. Aside from Blastball (which seemed like an awkward attempt to replicate Splatoon on handhelds) and some of the cringeworthy commentary from the kid and Black Nerd, I was grinning like a kid from ear to ear the whole time. Well done Nintendo, hope you'll consider doing this again.

Hopefully we won't have to wait another 25 years for the next one, fingers crossed that this becomes a yearly event. Congratulations to John Numbers!

To me the beginning was really boring. Things picked up though, especially in the end. I expected some big new game to be unveiled at the end, but I suppose Super Mario Maker worked pretty well.

It was wonderful. Those Mario Maker stages were the best and the whole thing reminds me again that video games are awesome. The downside? I couldn't sleep between nearly 2:40am and sometime after 4am, so I'm not watching the Sony conference live this year.
