Waffled's (Cold War) History Quiz [CLOSED]

So I have a History exam tomorrow (yay) and I was wondering if I could test my knowledge here, preferably without using the internet. This is mostly meant to be on the cold war (1947 - 1991). Not trying to completely exploit everyone but I thought it might as well make a good game in the long run (if it doesn't die). It might become a running thing once tomorrow is over smilie

Basically, I'll start with a question (about the Cold War) and somebody answers it. If correct, they get to ask the next history question and so on.

First Question (might be hard/evil): Near which town was Gary Powers shot down over on 1st of May during the U2 Crisis (1960)?

BTW I made a mistake. Gary only has one R (not that it makes a difference).

Also, this is about the Cold War, not any Civil War.
