I eat meat because it's healthy (keeps anemia at bay, supplies a decent protein/amino acid intake and provides you with vitamin B12), we're evolved to do so, and the taste is appealing in most cases. Not for some pathetic political agenda which many seem to assume these days.

My cousin-in-law is a vegan. He's 29 years old.......And completely bald.

About six years ago, he had a full head of hair; this was around the time he started being a vegan.

Not to mention he's skinny as a rail; he looks like that if he tripped and fell hard enough, he would die.


Being a vegetarian is far better than being a vegan, true, but that's enough for me. Besides, I hate corporate fat cats just as much as the next guy, but I'm not going to change my lifestyle over that.

And honestly, the vegetarian restaurants (or at least, ones that APPEAL to vegetarians like Panera Bread) are soon to be dominating the corporate world thanks to the rise of hipsters. So you're still not excluded from that blame.

Honestly if I wasn't so picky I'd probably be a vegetarian 'cause I always feel so guilty eating something that was forced to die just to feed me. And the way they have to live before they are killed is sickening. People always make fun of vegetarians who have the same mindset, but why is it bad to value life?

the only reason why i eat meat is because it taste good and it's too hard to be a vegetarian, and i find it hard to eat vegetables as it is. also i'm struggling to get my daily dose of iron as it is, so going vegetarian will just make it even harder for me.

also because like, i can't live without cheeseburgers man
