Nah, even as long as I've been here there's only been a few months or so where Skylanders wasn't a thing on this site. And I have no recollection of that whatsoever.

since there is no more spyro games coming and there is a new skylanders games coming every year. soon the spyro games on that banner up there can end up being removed, to fit the skylanders games. its a cause of concern for sure. i dont think dark52 have thought this properly through. all skylanders games after skylanders spyro adventure, aint really spyro games at all. they are related games yes, but they should get their own sub forum section, the same goes for the mobile games. first and foremost this web site is a dedicated spyro web site and not a skylanders web site, that is how i see it. but i guess there is a need for desperate measures to be taken to keep this site relevant, since there aint no more spyro games coming.

Yeah, I do miss how the site used to be, but I don't really think Skylanders plays a big role in the difference.

Well I joined because of skylanders, so no? Though I do miss 2013 and all it's horrors.

My earlier years here were nicer, but it's not too bad now. Not always, anyway..

yes i miss the days of 2009 - 2011
not 2008 because i was an embarrassment in that year
the site used to have more drama, plus the excitement of DotD and the possible new spyro game after TLOS series (before it was revealed to be Skylanders, it had the working title 'Spyro's Kingdom', so everyone thought it was going to be more Spyro related), and i miss the old users. and i was also writing ****ty spyro fanfiction and had fanfiction buddies on the site so i guess there was that too. oh and all of thoughs original spyro vs tlos wars were pretty fun to watch (until skylanders stopped all that and somehow made the two join forces).

heck i even remember the the S&N section was called friking spam

i really don't think skylanders had anything to do with it though, heck if anything skylanders is what's keeping the forums active because it invites new users
