I can't say for sure but I get the feeling we'll move onto a reliable alternative source of energy before they really run out for good. My money's on hydro.

I don't know the full situation of what happened that night with the guy and the cops, but severely harming someone and refusing them medical attention when already in custody is asinine and unprofessional. Goes double if they intentionally gave him a rough ride like I heard once.

Peaceful protesting is more than ok in this instance. Unfortunately it seems as though a lot of people use the tensions as an excuse to act out and cause mayhem. Maybe some of the people protesting really do have the idea of avenging this man, in which case their heart is in the right place but they're going about it the wrong way. But I get the feeling most of the rioters we see on TV causing trouble just want to cause trouble, get attention, and "stick it to the man" in any way they can. And it's not worth destroying a city.

Also that baseball game between Baltimore and Chicago was very interesting. Quiet as hell with nobody allowed in the park.

A walk on the beach sounds lovely but no joke I went on the sand 3 years ago, got sand in my shoes, and they're still there to this day.

Tough one, and to be frank I don't have a clear answer. What exactly do you refer to though? Economic globalization? Cultural? Diplomatic?

Well globalization can be a great positive in connecting our world in all sorts of aspects, but at the same time could lead to cultural meshing that results in the erosion of various cultures.

One notable problem in the economic field is all the different currencies we have. It would be easy to claim we make a universal currency that everyone operates with, but with the trouble the Euro is supposedly facing (it's been a while since I kept up to date; is it ok now?) many would be hesitant to move on such a drastic change.
Diplomatically there's still significant tension among various nations and such problems can lead to division and picking sides. Tensions in the Middle East, the recognition of Taiwan/Chinese Taipei, North Korea (though pretty much everyone is siding against them at this point). The UN has made great strides to bringing the world together to resolve conflict, but it has a long way to go (and in many instances isn't very effective).

Honestly I'm talking a load of garbage. But I believe as a human race we need to come together as one to work towards the greater good. When we eventually travel out into the stars we shouldn't be traveling as the United States, or China, or Niger. We should just be humans of Earth.

That said I also believe in preserving culture. Ideas can and should change but we shouldn't lose our culture.

I don't really have a favorite. For the past few years I've gamed primarily on PS3 and PC (and of course 3DS and Vita), but for the past several months most of my time playing games has been on either my handhelds or the Wii U.
