Such gritty, much deconstruction.
I'm honestly not overly excited for this. Nothing wrong with dark or gritty, but honestly after awhile the glumness gets dull. We'll see how this is though.

I'm fairly hyped and cautiously optimistic. I liked Man of Steel more than most people seemed to and I'm really excited to see DC move ahead with its own cinematic universe. It probably won't topple what Marvel is doing but it should be good all the same.

And I feel like the grit and dark aesthetic actually fits here. Not only is it a Batman film in modern times (Batman is still around today largely because of comics that made him darker), but it seems to be focusing on the negative reactions and attitudes towards Superman. Man of Steel didn't have much reason to be as muted and gritty as it looked, but this time it really works.

I do still think they should've held off on this project though. Waited until a Man of Steel 2 and a solo Batman film.

Looks pretty interesting. I've seen Man of Steel, I've seen the Batman movies, so I might as well give this a try too.

Meh, i'm still not looking forward to this very much. It still feels like DC is desperate to get to a Justice League movie and that's going to affect the quality of these films. They need a lot more planning than just releasing the Justice League movie a year and a half after this one. They need time to build up characters and stories, but this film is already going to shove half of the Justice League into this film before they get their own proper story.
