goddammit i really need to catch up on this show :(

Ok I'm not going to lie, one of the main reasons why I like this show is because it's different from other cartoons due to having a main cast that's mostly female and the females are fantastic fighters and kind of like super heroes. The only other show I can think of that's like this is The Powerpuff Girls (although Adventure Time's female cast is amazing too).

I adore this show so much. A friend recommended it to me a few months back and I haven't stopped watching it since. Right now, Garnet's gotta be my favorite character, followed by Steven, Lion and Connie. I also like Jamie and Pearl too. I don't have a favorite episode yet... but everything in this show is like a little piece of heaven for me.

Surprised that no one has made a joke about gems being corrupted on earth was Gnasty Gnorc's doing. ;D

And my favorite pairing has gotta be Jamie/Lapis... I like crack pairings. They'd go so well together.

Don't read if you haven't already spoiled Sardonyx for yourself, but:

Don't get me wrong, I've always wanted to see a Pearl/Garnet fusion. That was absolutely my first theory about Sardonyx, and I was very excited at the idea.

However, once a bunch of other theories came out about her, such as her being a Peridot/Jasper fusion, or one of the fusion experiments, or even the uncorrupted form of Centipeedle, I was incredibly excited for any of those, and some even had more evidence towards them. (for example, sardonyx is related to the gemstone jasper, and it's the alternate birthstone for August, second to peridot)

After getting excited for those possibilities, the Pearl/Garnet fusion seems kind of... lackluster.

I'm really hoping the week's events change my mind. We still haven't found out why Pearl and Garnet have waited so long to fuse, or why it's a whole week dedicated to the fusion. Maybe there's something dangerous about her, maybe she's extremely hard to break apart, like Sugilite. I'm at least eager to find out about that stuff.

I still love her voice and design, though.

They're so flawless though. I'm actually glad that thus episode happened because

It's good to see that even Ruby and Sapphire fight sometimes.


Also ALSO

Amethyst was actually offering comfort to Pearl. Amethyst is empathizing which we rarely see. Our tiny purple child is growing.

Everyone's favourite episode of Stevenbomb 3.0?
Mine was definitely Keystone Motel, mainly because of the 'Laffy Saffy' line. :U
