I wish bismuth was a three parter then we could have gotten a good build up with bismuth being a crystal gem but having something hidden underneath. I liked the episode but the second half just feels rushed. I had no emotional connection to bismuth when she got poofed cause I didn't get to know her or her personality very well.

That's a problem with Steven universe, The crew rushes things a lot. Back in the first season Steven slowly gained powers over 52 eps but now he's suddenly getting more and more powers at a faster rate. This rushing is not all of the crews problem having a story driven cartoon only go 11 mins doesn't help considering most shows go for 20-25 mins. I mean if shows like the simpsons and ben 10 can do it then SU can.

When it comes to character development I hate it that it comes through signing, it just seems unrealistic. Now that's a bit hypocritical to say considering this is a cartoon about space rocks, but id like it if the sorted out their problems through talking. Pearl is a big offender of this, She wont forgive Greg for taking Rose even if Greg tries to make things better, and when she goes to the hotel instead of talking to greg she sings. They did talk about during the episode but I mean it could've earlier in the series. And to add to this Amethyst is a jerk, shes funny but one thing I can never get over is the fact that she transformed into Greg's dead wife and traumatised him, and greg forgave her for only cleaning his storage room? That's messed up. The relationship between Greg and amethyst should be the complex one not pearls. Pearl is an obsessive whiner and amethyst is a jerk, no more then a jerk shes a horrible person.

anyway, tbh i dont know how log date 7 15 2 and bubbled were bad finales??? they felt pretty good too me

also im reslly doubting a new intro or that garnet and pearl will poof again anytime soon. amethyst has said in the past that she's usually the one to poof, so it makes sense she'd poof most often. (she poofed in the midst of the house construction).

mm back to the moon was nice, Rose info is great.

also its confirmed gems of the same type can have different weapons niceeeee

That episode was great!

I hope I'm not the only one who thought this was just like a Road Runner & Will E. Coyote episode

It's impressive how Peridot didn't get poofed (though I kinda hope she would so that she gets a new outfit). AND THE BUBBLE WENT TO LAPIS, THAT WAS SO CUTE!!1!!!1 X3

Also, I think Log Date & Bubbled were bad finales because the first finale was literally the best season finale possible.

I liked the Kindergarten Kid. It was cute.

I definitely got a Will E. Coyote vibe too lmao. It was a neat little episode overall and the ending was really cute but I wish we had gotten to see a little more right after Bubbled. Are the Rubies just floating in space? Did the CG just remain silent the whole flight back to Earth? So many unanswered questions...

Also, about the whole situation with finales, I really liked Jail Break as a finale (since it's the only one that was originally planned that way) but Log Date definitely didn't feel like that at all. Bubbled had more of a finale feeling but Log Date just feels bad because it was just CN spontaneously saying, "Now the seasons are half as long!"

That was cute. Seems like the first half of season 4 is all cutesy little adventures with Steven. Honestly, I don't mind it since it's basically like season 1. I do think that they should throw in a few overarching story related episodes in there just so those who like the narrative can get their fix.

If they can pull off a Gravity Falls and work the overarching story into the cutesy side episodes that'd be great

Not all of that spoiler was a spoiler at all...
