the custom titles were cool
but having them permanently isn't a very good idea
because then the sparx ranks and hunter ranks wouldn't have any meaning/be useless

That's not true. You can still check their profiles to see; plus, there's the Hunter symbol in their posts. And Dark could always add the rank below the avatar and keep the titles where the ranks currently are.
